"REdNET Bootroom "
Team selection
& Supporters Evolution

There are so many F S G -cloned "fan nies" out there on the net and sadly @ anfield too..

...Infesting our club, with "modern BS!"..
after I read Yet another would be scum jounro…"article " about our team "selection" i had to write this ..

Lets clear up some things about our team..
The "manager" is a novice,.most seasoned REdS know more about footy than BR!
(not open to debate, its simply true)
Having said that , the clever move by henry bringing Kenny back may help BR IF he calls upon Kenny's superior knowledge & application of the game (and how to win trophies!).

There is no such thing as a MUST win league game this early on, We should do our best to win every game, and aim for TOP (not 4th or 6th) but in a time when we are not @our best & In an average league with many teams able to compete against us, dropping points is unfortunately inevitable..

Certain players must be selected when fit; Agger, Glen, Lucas & SG & Luis for the experience they have and we need..Studge is becoming another "vital" to be added to this core of the team..and (inspite of Br's new pets & fan nies mis-guided opinion Martin Skrtel is added as
HE FORMS the BEST centre-back pairing we have.. Sorry kiddies you are wrong! Sakho & Toure are 3rd/4th choice..

and although we cant now stop the (wrong) removal of one the best goalkeepers we EVER had (Pepe) Mignolet as a "shot stopper" will have to do, his distribution (and a major factor In keeping control of the ball is a worry and MUST improve..

BR's naivety .. Of defensive matters , openly acknowledging our weaknesses @ corners & free kicks FAILED to learn from Rafs's zonal-system, that again (contrary to media BS!) was responsible for a below average goal-against record under Benitez.
BR is an "attacking coach" but so little ability in strategic & tactical awareness,

, anyone could have copied Barca @ Swansea, that did not justify him getting the
 job @ one of the biggest clubs in the World.
Obviously if u know the "USA-way" of business Henry_werner would always choose youth (who cant argue) & looks (for the "media - gods" they worship..
The use of Toure as a right -sided part of 3 exludes the beenfit of Lucas as it tends to develop A defensive shape , 10 mins before the end @ newcastle there were 8 RedS defending in our half against 3 from the Geordies team

..we must defend in THEIR half..
Yes, they were tired from the International break, and for me that justified resting SG and Suarez for the first half..

 And to fail to add a midfielder to our team (and take one of the defenders ; a hardly justified Cissohko?) off , @ H-T when the opponents are reduced to 10 should be logical to a child!

Saturday, we play W. brom and the man who could have taken over instead of BR ; Steve Clarke, whose tactical knowledge & experience of our club made it possible for him to complete the home & away double over us last season..

There are no "easy games" however our strongest team (when all fit) could and should beat any side .. And why not Kelly (and why discard Wisdom after one difficult game if BR is truly the "champion of the kids"..

Ideally :-

Pepe ;
Kelly Agger/Skrtel Glen;
Lucas Hendo & SG (free role);
Coutinho;
Luis & Studge

But the best BR can do now is…

Mignolet
Kelly Agger/Skrtel Glen;
Lucas Hendo & SG (free role);
Moses Studge Luis.

IF supporters estimated between 7-30 million "followers" worldwide REALLY CARED
About OUR CLUB they would join our campaign,

...with full support it would be easy to replace F S G with a fully funded professional management team whom respect "the Liverpool Way" with Shanks vision and applied enterprise that promotes LIVERPOOL and NOT "exploitive sponsors" who have no emotional interest in OUR CLUB>>> We are LIVERPOOL - Believe it! And it will happen!
….with hope in y-our hearts…!

    Photo: Steven Gerrard's achievement of 100 goals in the Barclays Premier League is all the more impressive considering he is a midfielder, according to Liverpool's all-time record scorer Ian Rush.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: "It's an incredible achievement and all for Liverpool Football Club as well. That's another good thing. He's a bit like Carra - a one-club man.

"It's an incredible achievement from a midfielder; you expect forwards to do it, but for Stevie as a midfielder to do that is an incredible achievement.

"That goes to show how good a player he has been. For Stevie to do that from midfield shows his loyalty to the club, but also what a great goalscorer he is."
The No.8 has often settled into a deeper role in matches this season, dictating the tempo and rhythm of Liverpool's performance with his passing and vision.
The Welshman added: "He has been more experienced, he is a captain now - he leads by example and is being disciplined. That's what Steven has been doing.

"Of course you want to get him forward to score goals; he will still get you 10 or 15 goals a season. He's a great player.

"He's captain of the club, he's working as a team rather than an individual. We'll need Stevie this season if we're going to be successful."

  1. I have been playing TEAM football longer than most people I play with or against have been alive..my mind moves much quicker than my body now,
    but most players dont have that "excuse"

    IN a culture where its probably more important to us than anything else... because many aspects of life & community are within this "game"

    Football is not complicated , but it can be confused by people..("experts")

    you get a goal by kicking or heading the ball into the net via passing between TEAM - mates

    when your team mate has the ball, move into space to receive it.

    pass to the player nearest , and make "triangles" for easy movement, unless you spot a forward player in clear sight to receive it.

    When the other team has it, pick up any opponent near your goal who is unmarked when they have the ball,

    and support each other in defence or attack..

    Tackle and obstruct the passing by the opposing team (whenever possible try to win the ball NEAREST to the opponents goal)

    & again when a team-mate has the ball, move into space..

    ... and score more goals than the other team!

    We all make mistakes, weall complain, but, try not to criiticise.. help & encourage your mates

    and be sociable because that CAN BE an intelligent society, in football, in community and in life
