a word for a nice man....https://www.joe.co.uk/sport/the-leicester-city-players-role-in-claudio-ranieri-getting-sacked-has-been-revealed/114543   but we blame  OWNERS (decisions are in their dirty hands .....ALWAYS!)

media claims :
  • Leicester's players were unhappy with Ranieri's "frequent and unexplained changes to tactics and personnel." They also reportedly had concerns about changes to training, and the diet regime. According to The Mirror, the players were unhappy that chicken burgers had been banned. ??????????? feckin kids!

  • The former Chelsea manager is said to have been "exasperated" by members of Leicester's backroom staff whom he inherited from Nigel Pearson, his predecessor at the King Power stadium. And frustrated by his players' apparent loss of motivation.
  • The players are understood to have voiced their concerns about Ranieri in a meeting with the club's owner in Seville, following the Champions League game.  ????

  • Ranieri was told about the decision at the club's training ground on Thursday, and didn't get a chance to say goodbye to the players, as they had already left the training ground ....

  laying the once "bogey" team;
leicester LIVERPOOL  ,

November 26 1977 : Leicester City 0-4 Liverpool

Ahead of Liverpool’s clash away to Leicester City on Monday night,

Liverpool were champions of England and kings of Europe,   Dalglish  scoring 31 in all competitions in the 1977/78 season,
the Reds became the first British club to retain old big ears.

These were tough times financially and many Reds made their way to and from away games by hitchhiking
and some would resort to ‘entrepreneurial’ techniques to raise funds for their travels.
Liverpool FC was a way out of the drudgery of everyday life for thousands.  wages were low.
However, by the time travelling Kopites made their way to the East Midlands on , Brian Clough’s Nottingham Forest, topped the table,
four points clear of the Reds. Lowly Leicester City,

Liverpool lined up in white shirts and black shorts. Cap ‘Crazy Horse’ (Hughes’ nickname) would join Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1979.
The official attendance for the game was just over 26,000, in what turned out to be a rout.

David Fairclough, playing on the left, broke free in the box and got himself on the end of a through ball from Dalglish,
after a goal mouth scramble. smashed the ball home.
Leicester came forward and  former Chelsea forward Keith Weller almost leveled. His shot had Clemence well beaten , a goal-line clearance by Phil Neal preserved Liverpool’s lead.

The Reds one-goal advantage would survive to half-time.

REds dominated possession  in 2nd half. In the 69th minute Ray Kennedy and Terry McDermott combined brilliantly to tee up Steve Heighway for a brilliant second goal.

Just over 10 minutes later Kennedy was at it again, this time setting up Dalglish, to smash home the third.

In the dying moments of the game McDermott drove in a fourth from the edge of the box and put the seal on a badly needed victory.

Liverpool’s preoccupation would continue to be Europe. Victory at Wembley and second European Cup in as many years

REDnet bootroom : IT IS...much more important than that??? pre LIVERPOOL v Spurs

IT IS...

much more important than that???

...pre LIVERPOOL v Spurs

at a time when it seems the "mainscream media" :  the USA , UK ; and most governments are being run by "Delboy & Rodney" (thats why the Balkan people like them!) ...

there are IMPORTANT ISSUES...

whilst Supporting Liverpool takes a lot of our energy
,,, we always had a social conscience ....

ALMOST 3 decades of campaigning
..and yet...
https://www.joe.co.uk/news/if-we-really-believe-in-justice-and-fairness-then-it-is-essential-the-hillsborough-law-is-passed/111892
?

"If we really believe in justice and fairness then it is essential the Hillsborough Law is passed" ???

CRS >" the removal of the power of the pyramid that has ruined lives and our beautiful game...is more important than new laws,,

"justice delayed, is justice DENIED" .. there are already global conventions that government ministers, officials, officers
& their agents or lawyers choose to ignore

..
and I am particularly DISGUSTED by modern Lfc "fans: who fail to see the damage done to OUR CLUB, by political, business or other manipulators of our faith in unity" (CRS 170309)

How would YOU feel.....
 if your neighbourhood ...
 became a WAR ZONE???????

i find it reprehensible that some "fans" got conned by brexit and the building of WALLS by arguably  the 5th largest economic nation in the world to keep out homeless refugees & migrants children.... ??

thats not the LIVERPOOL people i grew up with...

we were never "just a football club"  we were always an empathic society...

such a terrible conflict,
(as is Syria today)

, complicated by religious , political , criminal manipulations , even family vendettas and territorial disputes our Balkan Reds will tell you, if you ask 10 people what happened you will get at least 11 different answers...

their walls need to come down, not more be put up by ignorance and re-ignited prejudice..

LOVREN>"When I see what’s happening today I just remember my thing, my family and how people don’t want you in their country,” Lovren says in the documentary.
“I understand people want to protect themselves, but also people don’t have homes. It’s not their fault. They’re fighting for their lives just to save their kids. They want to go away and have a secure place for their kids and their futures." http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/marko-grujic-applauds-dejan-lovren-12583648  "“I went through all this and I know what some families are going through. Give them a chance, give them a chance. You can see who the good people are and who are not.
“We never had problems. Everything went well with the neighbours - with the Muslims, with the Serbs, everyone was talking very well between each other and enjoying the life. And then it (the war) happened.”

10 years of USA infestation...

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/evidence-suggests-liverpool-lucky-escape-12574246 contradictions & spin,.. Broughton : " I think there was a discussion,......I think we look legal advice" ..etc ... they are all in the fake biz club,.. "scorpions in a bucket" is the phrase that comes to mind. when I Look at all the " players" in this article.. 10 years of the USA corporates involvement in Lfc = net less than 20 million a year on players and shipped out the best, one 2nd class trophy in 10 seasons, and so much propaganda that it could be renamed Lying fc ... no wonder theres no luck on the field , so much negative karma they brought(on) !

many misguided Lfc fans say "wish we had a billionaire owner, ",,,,,????
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Alfond **(FSG)
====================================

http://rednet-alien.blogspot.com/2017/02/turning-shanks-red-into-blue-green.html
wow!   congratulations to Pearce & echo for a clever piece of spin,... just enough of criticism to fool the clones with a realist backing of Klopp to identify with his fans,  as a lawyer might prepare a defence argument,.. state the criticism aimed at the guilty to take the steam out of the prosecution...
BUT,  James,  we , who have followed and researched  the situation for at least 10 years are way ahead of you,,  there are too many holes in the JWH ship for your propaganda to repair..   less than a net 20 mil spent on a club that should be aiming for the top of the league ..

NESV were valued at several billions   ,so why cant Lfc compete with the manchester or london clubs?   because they want to do an arsenal,    qualification for europe and income from Tv, sponsors , shop and advance or corporate  tickets will keep Lfc one of the richest clubs in the world , never having to spend big , because our nice guy klopp will do it on a budget of youth, ... youth development that Rafa and Kenny and co already had sorted, but Rafa and Kenny would but big names if they were available and that eats into the re-sale value of the corporation, Lfc fans are to blame, you swim with sharks!

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-fsg-stark-truth-behind-12571782

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-fc-american-court-case-12581375

prioritize profiteering,,(as they knew nothing about footy or our culture),
and as he recently commented are happy to extend the stadium for middle-business class punters,
with a multi billion corporate bunch, who conned their way into fortune its dirty money..
but obviously modern fans do, and i agree, tend only to compaint of the team is losing..
henry and his billioaire bunch,
...with an average of less than 20 mil spent on the team each season,,
...the sacking of Kenny, for not adding to that one trophy in HIS only full season...
... mobbing of fans who dared voice of opposition (have you forgotten the Chang episode)
... even anyone who campaigned  for a share of the club were excluded from Lfc online membership
... promoting the scandal bank ..  and yes I am against having a betting name when this shd be a family club
... the increase in ticket prices that make the stadium the quietest its ever been
... henry-werner snubbed the Hillsborough memorial until someone told them is was bad PR
.. the sale of the best
... the employment of the worst man to ever sit in the managers seat: hodgson, (only removed when seats were empty)
..  replacing Kenny with BR, who had no prior success  rather than re-employing Rafa,
..  and then hire Klopp (as much as we like him) fits into their maximizing profit at the expense of on field success
( was an obvious move... but is finding the premiere a different and more difficult league than bundesliga)
ok...
10 years of trophy less (apart from one League cup by Kenny)
demotion in 10 years from TOP UEFA ranking to 46th...

LIVERPOOL v Spurs...at anfield 170211

liverpool-v-tottenham-team-news-predictions

S'life> You don't have to go back too far to find a much more encouraging display, the 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea clearly the best they've played for a while and even Antonio Conte seemed impressed by the quality and intensity shown by Jurgen Klopp's side in the second period. Liverpool raising their game for big matches against supposed rivals is not a new phenomenon and it's something we have to take into account ahead of this much-anticipated match with second-placed Spurs, but they've yet to win a game in 2017

Tottenham haven't exactly been prolific on the road this season, albeit only losing two away and it's the draw that could lure me into the match betting if drifting any further. The Reds have won five of the last eight league meetings between the sides but the last three have ended all square - two of those being 1-1

Team news

Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren remains a doubt for the visit of top-four rivals Tottenham.
The centre-back missed last weekend's defeat at Hull with a knee injury and has not trained all week while likely back-up Ragnar Klavan has spent six days in bed with an infection which led him to be absent at the KCOM Stadium.
Midfielder Adam Lallana missed two days' training with an Achilles problem but should be in line to start.
Tottenham will be without defenders Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen for Saturday's Premier League game against Liverpool.
Rose has injured his knee and Vertonghen is still recovering from an ankle problem, meaning Ben Davies and Eric Dier are expected to continue in defence.
Erik Lamela is still struggling with pain in his hip but Kieran Trippier is available again after overcoming an injury to his ankle.
Teams
Liverpool (from): Mignolet, Clyne, Lucas, Matip, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Firmino, Coutinho, Karius, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Moreno, Can, Sturridge, Origi.
Tottenham (from): Lloris, Vorm, Lopez, Davies, Alderweireld, Dier, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer, Walker, Trippier, Wanyama, Winks, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Sissoko, Onomah, Son, Janssen, Kane.

Liverpool v Tottenham: Opta facts

  • Liverpool are on an eight game unbeaten run against Spurs in the Premier League (W5 D3 L0); they last went nine without defeat against them in March 1998.
  • Spurs have lost 15 of their 24 visits to Anfield in the Premier League (W2 D7) - they have only lost more often at Old Trafford (20) and Stamford Bridge (16).
  • Mauricio Pochettino has never beaten the Reds as Spurs manager (D3 L3), including losing a League Cup fourth round tie earlier this season. However, when he was manager of Southampton he won two of three games (L1) against them.
  • Only against Newcastle (88) have Liverpool scored more Premier League goals than against Spurs (83).
  • There have been nine own goals in Premier League meetings between these sides - more than in any other Premier League fixture.
  • Liverpool have scored 12 penalties against Spurs in the Premier League - the most by a team against an opponent in the history of the competition.
  • The Reds have scored more penalties than any other Premier League side this season (6), with all six converted by James Milner.
  • Liverpool have won just one of their 10 games in all competitions in 2017; this is their worst start to a calendar year since 1993, when they mustered just one win in their opening 11 matches.
  • Spurs have conceded the fewest goals from open play in the Premier League this season (7). Indeed, Liverpool have shipped more goals from open play (18) than Spurs have in total this season (16).
  • Harry Kane has been involved in all three of Spurs' goals in their last two Premier League games at Anfield, scoring twice and assisting once.
  • No player has more Premier League goals in 2017 than Harry Kane (6 - level with Romelu Lukaku). He is the only player to score 20+ Premier League goals in the last two calendar years (27 in 2015, 22 in 2016).
  • Four of Spurs' last five away Premier League wins have seen them score four goals, most recently a 4-1 win at Watford on New Years' Day. However, they've never scored more than three goals in a game at Anfield.
  • J├╝rgen Klopp has an identical record to Brendan Rodgers in his opening 54 Premier League games as Liverpool boss (W26 D16 L12).

Liverpool v Tottenham: quotes

Jurgen Klopp
On putting the past behind him, starting with the visit of second-placed Tottenham: "In this moment I am nearly nil-point-nil interested in what was. I am more interested in what will be and what we can do, and what results we can get and performances we can show and where and when we can deliver. In my dreams we can win 14 games. I know how it sounds but I cannot change my dreams and that is what I am working for. After these 14 games it is another moment when we watch back and we use all these experiences and all the things we learned about each other, and then we will make decisions that will help us in the next season."
On the Reds' poor first-half display against Hull: "I was not happy about the first half, you can imagine. I remember even in the second half I was angry about the first half. First half we should not play like this. There was no sign in the week this would happen. We had a more than a good game against Chelsea (drawing 1-1). We flew there, (had a) night in a hotel, everything is perfect and then we play this kind of football. It was not a physical issue because the second half there was nothing. It is my responsibility but it doesn't mean I can't be angry. You watch the game again and it was clear what was wrong. We have no time to watch back and say 'Maybe this was the reason' - we spoke about everything. It is really important we spoke about the important things for the players and that is what we did immediately."
Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham)
On Jurgen Klopp: "I cannot speak for another coach but all the managers, Klopp with his experience, he is clever like other managers to provide good balance. If you win you are a genius, if you don't win you are criticised. You need to be natural, spontaneous and believe in the way you play, use your methods. It's an easy answer: only work in the way you believe you can achieve big things."
On Danny Rose's injury: "He is very positive, we are very positive. It is not a big issue, a minor problem, small problem."
