As the EPL again show no care of the long distance True REdS may travel on a monday night (why can locals rivals??)  ... enjoying being top of the table, at least until the weekend, LIVERPOOL hope to smash down woy's Palace ... 

and hopefully keep the momentum going through to the end of the season.. ( 2018/08/rednet-update-4-0-cockney-wham-new-boys. ) .. I always want LIVERPOOL to stuff any of Woy's teams, considering what that sh&te did to us when employed as "manager"  of Lfc.... who laid down a marker at Anfield as they thrashed the east London outfit 4-0.

The Reds' attention turns to another London side on Monday when they travel to Selhurst Park - a place which has haunted them in the past.

Crystal Palace posted an impressive opening day win themselves with Hodgson's men winning at  Fulham 2-0

It depends how JK sees the line up, will he add Clyne & Fab. to strengthen the defence away, or "go for it"  as palace are likely to be happy to defend their own goal and seek luck at the other end... I expect Mane to be the danger as teams try to cope with Mo's goals , allowing Sadio, Firm and the others more space..?

 Palace will be aiming to upset the odds in front of their own fans.

The good news for the neutral is that Selhurst Park has hosted games filled with goals in recent years when Liverpool come to visit, and everything points towards goals again here. The last seven meetings between these two at Palace have seen three or more goals. Arguably the most famous encounter coming in May 2014, where Palace came from 3-0 down to score three in the last ten minutes and de-rail Liverpool's title hopes.

palace's last home defeat came against Liverpool, but they did finish the 2017/18 season in good form, going unbeaten in their last six and winning the final three at home., woy Hodgson's men won't be a pushover.

Both sides are in form, and I'd look towards goals here given the attacking power that both teams possess.

The jtrio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah have made Liverpool one of the Premier League's great entertainers, and a strong midfield also contributes in the goals department.

Wilfried Zaha will spearhead Palace's attack. He was the constant source of speculation throughout the summer, with some media outlets saying he was desperate to leave. So much so that he signed a new deal at the club to extend his stay.
