so..

....the fsg propaganda machine took a hit.. with most of the crowd wearing Red shirts, the marketeers of Lfc decided that , even though Lfc were "at home" to play in ...PURPLE

...well all those ameriCANTS can then buy the new ..(away kit) ..  a boring first half when Virgils headed goal was the only shot on target by either side (50/50 possession) 

2nd half...
 ..Lfc strengthened part of this virtual reserve squad outing , however, and its something I suppose i am always going to be in conflict with Juergen about  ,,, MoreNO in the defence... as usual , sometimes he looks capable going forward, but theres always a dodgy back pass possible,,,and for me he did NOTHING defensively to stop any of the 3 Dortmund goals... of course Karius didnt do much either , springing out the way of Pulicic penalty (Klavan's tackle correctly judged)  didnt dive for the 2nd ,  and parroed the 3rd shot into a prsent for Dortmund... 

 Studge again some touches, Gomez looked comfortable until the last 20 minutes,  Clyne ok defensively  (too many negative passes though..) Keita was busy keen to show.. but seeing Mo, Mane & Wijnaldum stuck on the bench remided me that Klopp didnt seem concerned about this "prestige international Champions cup"  Ojo ..i think could be a squad asset.. Fab looked sound first half (he was replaced during several half time changes..and this being the USA  , they seemed to have also half time in each half.. lets hope FIFA wont get drawn to this sh&te ...

it seems clear that the inflated price from Roma, paid by Lfc, has a lot to do with the "low price" paid for Mo last summer... in effect if you look at the 2 for 100 mil..then in some pervers way it is understandable.. if you consider the squad now (with or without Fekir) there is no reason why Lfc cant compete for the top... a first major trophy in a decade is the LEAST achievable..this coming season..SURELY they cant make any more excuses,,,??? (but Effsg might..)
