It first started to annoy me during the '80s when i noticed how some fickle fans deserted their fav. clubs to follow Lfc
,...it seemed only because we were winning in europe (Champions of europe 4 years out of 7) between 1977 - 1984
... fans who didn't grow up with the KOP culture, started to "dilute" the REd blood bond of the "holy trinity”..passed from Bill through Bob, & Joe and then Kenny had to suffer the consequences

...something broke, then came Heysel & Hillsborough...terrible coincidence?.... then the materialistic Tv dominated premiere league seemed to "move the goalposts"...all that was good was seemingly converted to "cash v value"
...more players became mercenaries, as a norm... loyalty became rarer..
and just about anyone became a pundit...and complicated one of the simplest most beautiful games in the universe,,,
during the 90's I noticed how many times captain Jamie REdnapp was injured for england.. and Lfc just missed a title or trophy.. then in 2009 after Rafa had boosted our "squaad" back into a team challenging for the title, Our 2 best players Stevie & Nando missed too many games due to injuries, which, added to the financial restrictions Rafa had to deal with due to the yan kers "sell before buy" policies (which are still, to a lesser extent, still applied by the current shark-infested boardroom of Lfc-USAcorp..) ... arguably cost the European champions trophy in Kiev...
policies which have denied our supporters a major trophy since 2006...
and recently i got drawn into an argument because english Lfc fans got caught up in the hype of the media & exaggerations because their national team (... and when YOU place a national flag on an Lfc group, YOU " make football about politics" ) Kopites have always had (AN OPEN) social-political opinion ..such as when we sang not so ,long ago... “we are all having a party when Maggie Thatcher is dead!”
glorious English victories over the mighty teams of Panama, Tunisia, & Sweden, (and Columbia after pens) caused many english lfc fans to FLOOD Lfc GROUPS with their national team reports, highlights, score lines, commentary and such.. and many disrespected the FACT that there are over 30 million Lfc supporters & fans on face book alone, 95% of whom are NOT english fans...

just a brief comment about todays (world cup) final...for 2/3rds of the game , the croatian team were the better sides, an OG and a debatable pen gave the french an unworty lead, but as I said before the game, corrupt FIFA would hardly allow a small controversial nation win their big prize..
what was amusing was the way Lloris must have had pressure from the Goalkeepers Union to make Lfc;s Karius feel good , by a blunder that more than equalled the Kiev disaster.. ;)

FOR ME, its inter-linked .. the english FA have always been biased.. v Liverpool the establishment in London opposed our people in every way possible, and it goes on now ...the London HQ, its media .. and the way they picked out Dejan too.. i know you wont be able to see it the same.. i understand you... i dont feel anything for england, either way, I have lived abroad half my life and i dont need to repeat what happened to the Liverpool club and people of my youth.. my mothers side was scottish socialist (dont mention the queen & co. ) most england fans who didnt grow up at that time cant really understand the animosity .. I would fight for Liverpool but not for a nation which is (like almost everywhere in the world ) an artificial construction made by kings or politicians.. ;) and divisive.. inhabited by so many people who hate my culture & ideals..! and put down my people.. in every aspect of life football or otherwise....there you go...!
