... this is something so many Lfc fans dont get, the :midfield engine: has to function, often highly skilled players dont put in the shift that these (and Wijnaldum) did last season, and it suited the front 3 to have an effective link befween defence and attack .. speedy counter-pressing , hounding and fast counter-attacks arent as effective if the midfield wants to show how talented they on the ball, the best and fastest way to play footy is to pass quickly.. especially important when players like sadio & Mo are up front...

Lfc is a rich club , at the end of the season, pre any new fincial expensitute the NET spend is only around 5 million in 3 seasons.. now a) Lfc are already one of the top 10 richest clubs in the world, b) increased revenue, from league, & from tickets, c) from lfc products (another new outlay for 3 x new kits this summer , etc d) there will be outgoing players , some loans will become sales, d) increased tv income e) around 80 MILLION extra from champions league campaign! .. if they dont get the 2 or 3 extra players needed to challenge at all levels nOW, they never will.. hate to remind you all, but, its THIRTEEN seasons since Lfc won a major trophy... enough of "wait for next season" BS!

you select a midfield that hasnt played yet in the EPL? there needs to be a transition.. the work that Ox, Hendo, Wijnaldum and Milly out in this season is still under-estimated,.! amazing! ..so If you chose that midfield the bench; will have wonderkid Woodvurn? another CB? Hendo, Wijn, Milly GK, no place for youth internation Solanke.. interesting.. but i dont think so...
Karius has an ego, he drives a big car, with a number LK1 (personal plate) he came to Lfc to make his own fortune,.. he took the posiition of Gk from Simon, who IMO should NOT have replaced my personal favourite of Pepe Reina ..
. I am a supporter of the team,, I have sympathy with supporters AND with the players who gave their best.. i would argue , as I mentioned that Juergen should NOT have put him the position in such a game, but Karius was happy to take the credit if things went well..
. I think of Milly , who worked his socks off through the tournament... and maybe played his last season for Lfc (he will be 33 and u know how young players will challenge him next season) Hendo too .. who fought hard , especially after Mo going off made it harder.. .. Mo...I have deep sympathy much more than Karius because he and we knew that he could have won it for the supporters and the team, Firmino and Mane, who tried to make the difference after Mo s brutal exit... etc ..the young scouser, Trent, and Robbo the "duracell bunny in Red" ran his socks off , all night. every time her has played...
and the supporters , on low income who struggled to get there.. or the ones who now simply cant afford these expenive events..?
they are the ones I empathize with... I wont hate a player or boo a player in Red, but, this lad always has a mistakes in his game, in many games he got lucky, not on saturday though,..
The responsibility must be carried by Juergen, who rightly has been applauded for games at porto v city & roma, but as with Basel, Moreno was a weakness, ... and this time not only did players have to over come the shock of Mos brutal exit, they had to recover from a ridiculously soft give away first goal , at such a vital moment..that Lfc stayed in the game is a CREDIT to those others, especially Mane & Robbo... but i cant support Karius , because we have seen it too many times before... I would rather have given Ward a run this season than either Simon or Lorius! there you go...!

Just so you know, Jurgen Klopp's gegenpressing is the most energy draining and exhaustive systems of all. Even Atletico Madrid can't match it, so it's fair to say, the lads ran their socks off. I was a little nervous about Lovren but he won my heart on the night. And then Karius threw it all away with these two unforgivable blunders.

Anurag Roy > you did't get my point, of course Gerrard is different with karius but the impact is just same we lost the title, you think karius not good enough to be our GK because of that mistakes but our best player still can make mistake either, i don't force you to forgive karius and if you think i'm not angry with him you wrong, as i say i would love if we signing a new GK like oblak or Alisson, but right now i just want to give karius my excuse cause i know how it feels to let someone down especially someone you love, and if you don't agree with me it's ok i never force you to get in my way cause everyone have different mind and i just give my opinion
Christopher > Nuraini , opinions are always going to be different, i understand your point, the extreme hatred is wrong, but also Karius hasnt done much to obtain the sort of sympathy someone like Gerrard deserved, Stevie won trophies and game after game for the team , gave virtually his whole career to the club.. Karius hasnt built any credibility so far, despite Juergens faith in him..and Klopp must shoulder the blame for selecting him.... Lorius made mistakes that other GK would not expect to be selcted after ..i minimum of sympathy yet,,, thats all..
