Lfc v Stoke 4-1
 (position now 2nd in League) 

REdNeT as warned before the game, this could be the most difficult to over come of 3 games in these next 7 days... ..with ex Lfc players wanting to prove something Joe the Hobbit megging Hendo (or rather it was Lalla!) 
(Hendo playing too deep) and Crouchie clearing off their line,,,

but a superb pass from Origi helped to make the opening for Lalla to do a 1-2 off Glen as Lfc equalized the opening stoke goal...
 Firm managed to hit both posts with a shot he squeezed through 4 defenders, to make it 2-1 shame Money couldn't get a 3rd before half-time, but a good game, to watch ...stoke making sure that Lfc will have to deserve their position in the league,,, h-t 2-1

Harvey > full time 4-1 and hard working stoke ran out of steam, 2nd half as lfc dominated , 3rd goal involved an incisive pass from Hendo and asist from origi who really worked the game well .

.. his replacement (earlier thanks JK!) stole the 4th after a bad fensive back pass gave Studge the chance to show his class again and cool finish to make it a confortable looking 4-1 ... that will do...! 

n.b. one cross field diagonal 40 yard pass from Hendo had me singing " are you Stevie in disguise?" ...:)
4-1 makes this game  seem "comfortable" but for about 30 mins had stoke been sharper ......they could have been more than 0-1 up...

before the game...

As i am writing the Lfc Team are preparing to take on Stoke, at Anfield, as most other rival teams played in yesterday's "boxing day" matches and amongst them leaders chelski are now 9 points ahead... 

This game could prove to be the MAJOR hurdle to overcome, with Hughes (ex manc) motivating ex Lfc players Johnson, Allen the hobitt, A and Crouchie ...

i dont like it when we have to beat ex-players , who obviously wish to prove their credentials..... the REDS will have to be at their best, and get on it from the start to ensure 3 points... I feel that this game should  not be under-estimated, also updated @  https://www.facebook.com/REdNET.Sclog

I was brought up by an ordinary "working class" family , living in social housing (which is becoming more difficult to find ... )  I made some chances but they were there, i could afford to go on the Kop, and later got an "apprentice" job in a London shipping office which in turn let m ethrough the window of the world, to travel half of it and enjoy so many adventures that seem "impossible" for the average modern child.

To play football and to watch games now, "costs"  business, media  and greedy owners make every league "commercial"  even here , where I am based in the balkans the local facilities are declining, authorities take tourists money and ...?  not enough free sports, and all the "fudbalski teren" ahve to be paid for , my youth team players would have to pay almost half the income of a pensioner to join a league...so I have sponsored them during the last year, money also from my deceased wifes insurance helped me...

but there is a better way...

LUCAS the Man, MY Captain V media & ignorance

Mentality & character!,

MY MAN of he Moment must be Lucas , 

 ..his late selection as CB for Lfc v "champs" Leicester..

alongside new boy Matip (anyone who has played CB knows how dfficult it is to establish understanding) 

LUCAS... was superb,,, limiting Vardy & Leicester to ONE clear chance ALL game. organising the defensive unit (and mignolet!)

 ...his precise distribution led to many attacking moves and at least 2 of the 4 goals..and despite being "blamed" for a "GOAL THAT WASNT" .. by fans and ignorant media, (not helped by JK and staff failing to protest at the infringement") continued to excel,, never mind Mane (who actually wasnt in the game during the first 30 mins, Firmino s link up & good finish and Lala rocket and work rate

... Lucas showed that he, and he alone has the mentality to be CAPTAIN, a lesson for the youth team i "manage/sponsor
and any other player who wants to be a footballing MAN!

*FIFA rules confirmed that the pressing of the Leicester player was INSIDE the penalty box BEFORE the ball left the area,, that the REF should have retaken it... so much for the awareness of Lfc staff or linesman, League & FA representatves or "expert media" who jumped on the "blame Lucas bandwagon so quickly!

When Came to Lfc, thanks to RAFA (the best Lfc manager of the last 25 years)  at atime when we sang of the "Best Midfield in the World, Momo (Sissoko) Xabi, Alonso, GERRARD and Mascherano..!  " .,...

the ignorant fans laid into him, expecting a ball juggling Brazilian...but Lucas was a box-to box TEAM player, palyer of the year in his own league prior to transfer to Lfc 

,,,,many  fans couldnt understand why Rafa signed him...  and when he replaced Stevie ina MERSEYSIDE DERBY , I certainly realised how highly Rafa rated him, and watched him more closely...

Rafa converted him to a DM,  with benefits... he dont score but his "job" was always to protect the defence , sometimes at damage to his own performance... 

FEW fans watch a defensive player during a game, because I palyed there, I did & do

... I recall before his first injury him BOSSING Jaja Toure when Jaja was at his peak...

Injuries

So add it up, he had to over come the stupid, few Lfc boo boy fans...the lack of public knowledge, the media ignorance and TWO major injuries that could have ended him

...and then on saturday, he ignores what was made to seem a match threatening BLUNDER and commanded the defence, adding quality distribution from CB , not seem since Agger.

Adopted scouser & Captain..

He would be FIRST on my team selection list every time, BUT he is still is seen as "one of Rafas" by some in the media and fan base who seem to have a "hate campaign" going (Martin Skrtel suffered badly from this) who pop at this brave lad at every opportunity...

He talks like a scouser, his kiddie born there, &  family well integrated into Liverpool life, he talks to the younger players , leads his team mates ... & must have felt sick when (then new boy) Milner and Hendo got ahead of him..

yes he is MY man,,,he should be THE Man...

thats more important if Lfc are to win leagues than the "Mane hype" (compared to Barnes??)  and "the rich mans main stand"...

I am on a facbook Lfc fan group, WHICH IS better than most, but , without , i think ,, any intent ,,
the posting yesterday made me step back and wonder "what the feck has happened to what was OUR club?"...

Origins and "Shanks REd Army boyz" 

We grew up with his "holy trinity"  bonded Players, supporters and Manager..

 we were socialist lads 
either from working class families or with the beliefs of social justice...

 something that drove my generation to never give up on the brothers & sisters lost at Hillsborough due to the systems distain on our culture.

They hated our "swagger" and the scallies giving a 2 finger salute to the rich londoners as once again we 
would claim our annual trophy at Wembley or clinch another title in their backyard,

HOPE during Rafa's Reign...

between 2005 and 2010 I got the "bug" again, I had always supported LIVERPOOL , not only the club, but the music, the wit,  and social culture that has more in common with the celts of Scotish or Irish lands than the english snobs and we felt "kings of europe" again with Rafa,

"in the richest top 10 clubs in europe"  BUT, have declined in footballing status so that getting to finals and average league position is "tolerated"

the US of A (currently location of the Lfc squad pre=season tour) SPINS every bit of news in or out of Lfc. every sale is "justified" by Lfc tv & the hacks on the echo,,  every purchase hyped up,  those who are "media friendly"  bigged up, and the players loyal to Shanks "Liverpool way" and Rafas team ..pushed out the door, aided by the "americanized" fecking s g CLONED fan nies and their poodles in the media.

Fans who have hardly kicked a ball, and pundits who are mere ex players or  Lfc fans with media priviledge talk mosly sh&te.

Many of them think the game is like "play station" and players are just names to be slotted into their "perfect selection"

bought and sold like commodities,,, a sympton of the way the "american dream" has become the GLOBAL NIGHTMARE..

everything is priced...they will bottle and sell you the air you breathe soon!

I am not defending the modern player, many average squad players are made into millioanires when barely passed puberty.

but there is something SICK in the society when fans look at a "squad menu" of the current LFC squad, and say get rid of number 22 and 45....etc

There is a lack of empathy , the players are people...when we were lads they were TRUE heroes , who played for the shirt , who we sang and chanted for, and prayed that we could be,..  they were close, we could talk to them.,,,,

and now fans  make them into mere "numbers"

without heart , without empathy,  even the few loyal ones , like Lucas , with a "scouse family" reduced to nothing, by modern ignorance

shame ,,,,on the society,  which teaches "cool"  shame in football

...because you WILL "walk alone" too, one day because thats the PRICE you payfor being "cool"....
