Anybody looking out at the rain wondering why we are all getting up in the morning to see hundreds of boys and girls walk onto an awfully maintained set of football pitches and play football? Whatever team you support, you have to hand it to this guy who not only talks about grassroots football, but regularly watches our boys and girls play.

    Its good to have the alternatives ; according to each game during a very busy phasee to have hopefully all fit including Lalla, we will see just how good JK can "mix and match" and it would be nice to see a strong bench, if Jk can learn to have "impact" from there when needed... season has only completed "part 1"....

    overall, Mike, maybe we could have the list , but for pundits & TAW writers ha ha... missed out Carra, when he was RB , being booed by idiots before Rafa helped make him one of the best CBs in Europe, I always felt there was a difference in supporters, and in social aspects , too, to support meant just that, whereas "fans" follow , and moan, supporters , support, .. the whole of society and football reflects that, now also at Lfc because less & less hard core REDs go to the game, the spoiled brats of the media age, fed on pundits drivel, and kids who think playing a video game makes them footy experts...

    and of course the increasing number of superficial clones accumulated since Moores sold Lfc out... to USA corp!

    We used to prefer discussing the merits whilst making up a new song for one or all of our "heroes" in the Albert, Arkles, or some other away pub, in uk or europe... a more positive activity than the average "punter" who is on his/her "smart phone" with the would-be ANALysts dissecting the players, the echo or website, blog "ratings" which in itself is a matter of personal opinion rather than the fact the "stats" sheeple like to profess...

    Reds used to have solidarity, dignity and yes be part of the "holY trinity" now and since close on a decade there are more HO(L)ES, than holy ...

    nice article Karl, used to love going to wham when I was an apprentice in London, a group of us lads, every mid-week during the season find a game @spurs or wham, (we couldnt afford the money or the time to get up & back to Anfield for the Tuesday nights... Lfc always played Tuesdays...?) enjoyed the games always goals, as wham attacked with abandon, recall one wham v blues 3-3 when both sides had players like Moore, Peters & Hurst, and a young H. Rednap on their wing, Bally shouting to Kendall; Harvey& co in his high pitched voice, with cockneys on the chicken run taking the P*ss...

    I already have problems with Lfc since 2007, back stabbing of beloved Rafa, and the erosion of Shanks "Liverpool ways" the Holy trinity is dead.. and I wonder how many of the true supporters can continue to raise a voice against away supporters who are more "in tune"...     that fouls up the echos "pick strongest team" ... been the same since 2 decades or more, the FAs anywhere are manned mostly by the wrong people , remember when Jamie rednapp (was capt) and hardly fulfilled a season due to injuries for eng-ur-lund, same with Studge and many more...(inc Stevie) expect it now... and have been saying since then, that IF the FAs paid players wages for time off club games they would probably be more "careful' (fergie never rarely the mancs players go if he had concerns...so they Knighted him! ha ha ) Lfc boardroom is a waste of space...http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/liverpool-sweating-sadio-mane-fitness-13893386 ..no balls!
