REdNET update LIVERPOOL v the lesser manc side SUNDAY ; JK must "Rafa" maureens mancs

Football can be BEAUTIFUL, not only on the field...but in THIS feeling...

LIVERPOOL v maureens lesser mancs ?

please READ the text below :)

YNWA/J4t96th!

Christopher Richard Smith

LIVERPOOL
maureens lesser manchester
Last night (thursday ) I was discussing football, ... with local managers & coaches..
and in my mind after, I reflected on sunday's game, and some annoyance at Lfc fans who seem to think the REdS team just have to show up on sunday... have you lost your minds or memory..

JK is a great 'motivating" coach.. however, I have often made critical comment about his in-game management - sometimes he gets it right , but often and I can think of times in the last 3 seasons when Conte , wenger ... and sundays opponent..the manc's Maureen out witted Juergen..

look at the games, Maureen has stifled the Lfc selection of JK , time & again, not caring about playing football, kill the movement and skill of the Liverpool team and hope to snatch a goal or 2 ... the last 2 at Anfield 0-0 with De Gea outstanding too, (perhaps he might not be on sunday)

the LIVERPOOL team and its coach are not beyond criticism,, getting through 1-0 vNapoli meant we were all Made up... BUT AB needed to amke a worldie save at the end .. had he not Angellotti would have been hailed as a "master tactician" for soaking up all the passion of Anfield and snatching a result...THANKFULLY the bhoyz won through.,,

Especially I am mindful of the often maligned midfield trio of Hendo, Gini & Milly (sounds like a singing group?) :) ... much of their efforts got the REDS to Kiev last season.. ball-winning is important, Shanks instilled that way back in 1960's and his teams virtually invented "pass & move" & "hounding" ... of course modern pundits think Barca invented the former and JK 's "inovated gegen - pressing" look ..I have seen it all before...

.............I like Juergen as a man, and much of the time as "head coach of Lfc' his press conferences make me and many smile, of course... but...i LOVE Rafa ... because I am by (former) profession a "global strategist" ... the psychology is massive in big games.. and most times - even when , on paper the Liverpool players were "lesser" he "done" Maureen ...and made LIVERPOOL ..the special one...

on Sunday, Jk needs to be MORE than "normal" as do the supporters & players , every single one, and TAKE the few chances that come.. be "extra normal"

Hey, I am spoilt , I still have a video (converted from VHS, if you know what this is?) of a 4-0 battering of the mancs ..warm memories (link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY3cJwsRttY )

and 2003 ...

when I was in german/irish pub in Freiburg ...and having some near violent "banter" with a manc fan ("Gubsy") ... who called Mowen a "gay boy" Stevie smashed the first, deflected, from 30 yards and "the gay boy" slotted in for 2-0 ..and did i rub it in.. watching the "stretford end" of the cardiff stadium... go silent , then empty.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aWugJIQM2M

the 2-1 when Rafa's REds beat the mancs at Anfield after a long time without a win against them, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ3-d_nGuPY

and of course the 1-4 , when Torres, Stevie, Pepe, & (arguably MotM LUcas) shocked Manchester in the same week as we battered real MADrid 4-0... and i was in madrid watching it with REdS there... happy days... @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGqtIwvhkME

and WHO could forget this,,,, Steven Gerrard stunner... ?????https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LydSeAbzhJU

this when all fit and on best form ???
please REdS Team, PLEASE lads ..take no prisoners ,, bury them mancs on sunday, along with maureen too...

Proposed Team; AB;
Trent  & Matip injured so Milly?? VVD, Dejan, Robbo, Hendo , Fab (rest Gini ) NK, Shaq , Firm & Mo (bench Mane) ...Mane on early 2nd half for wghoever is tiring up front, Gini  for Hendo after 60.. studge last 20+mins? depending on game situ..

MEDia ..(SpL)  the biggest game of the weekend and one of the biggest games of the season as Manchester United make the short trip along the M62 to face Liverpool at Anfield.

The Reds are top of the table and already 16 points ahead of United - who are the same distance away from the relegation zone as they are from the Premier League summit.
Despite all the negativity surrounding Jose 's side, he has had the formula to thwart Liverpool's attacking verve in recent visits to Merseyside and the mancs are unbeaten in their last eight league meetings with their arch rivals.
Good stats then, to keep the travelling fans hopeful on Sunday afternoon and maureen has insisted he has enough quality in his side to try and grab the win, despite having as many as nine players either out or doubtful.
Jose's side has played well in games against Arsenal and Chelsea, but there's just not a lot of confidence coming out of the camp and it's so hard to make a case for them getting anything from the game.
maureen mayl have his side well-drilled and looking to give nothing away at Anfield. That Napoli victory could do wonders for Liverpool though who've not hit top gear yet this season, which seems strange to say considering they're unbeaten and top, but illustrates the current gap between the sides.
A big crowd, a decent atmosphere, the Super Sunday game on the back of another glorious European night at Anfield all add up to a fast start from Klopp's Reds, and United have been slow starters this season, finding themselves behind six times at the break this season.

Liverpool v Man Utd Opta stats

Head to Head - Liverpool v Manchester United
  • This will be the 201st meeting between Liverpool and Manchester United in all competitions, with the Merseysiders winning 65 and suffering 80 defeats (55 draws).
  • Manchester United are looking to win back-to-back league games against Liverpool for the first time since January 2016, when they won four in a row.
  • Liverpool are winless in their last eight Premier League games against Manchester United (D3 L5) – they haven’t gone longer without a win against the Red Devils in league competition since April 1988 (12 games).
  • The last two games between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield have finished level (both 0-0) – only once previously have these sides drawn three consecutive games in all competitions on Merseyside (in January 1921).
  • This is the most points Manchester United have been behind Liverpool in the league table before Christmas since Christmas Eve 1990 (16 points), while it’s the most points Liverpool have been ahead of Manchester United ahead of a top-flight meeting between the sides since March 1990 (21 points).
  • Liverpool are currently on their joint-best Premier League unbeaten run (17 games). They last had a longer run in the top-flight between March-November 1990 (23 games).

  • Manchester United have conceded 26 goals in 16 Premier League games this season – just two fewer than they conceded in the whole of 2017-18 (28 in 38).
  • Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has won 50% of his Premier League away games at Anfield (4/8); the best win percentage among managers with 5+ such games in the competition.
  • Liverpool’s attacking trio of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are all yet to score or assist in a Premier League game for the club against Manchester United (combined total of 855 minutes played).
  • Manchester United’s Juan Mata has been involved in seven Premier League goals against Liverpool (3 goals, 4 assists), including three in his three at Anfield. Only against Newcastle (8) has the Spaniard been involved in more goals in the competition.

come back soon , a happy (mo) Joe,,..

has penned a long-term extension to take him up to 2024.

He has impressed this season - in which Liverpool have had the best start to a league campaign in their history - both alongside VVD in the centre of defence and also at right-wing-back, where he has sometimes replaced Trent.
"Signing this new deal means the world to me," Gomez told the club's website.
"I've been at the club a few years now and have had the pleasure to play for Liverpool and experience what that means, so I am delighted to get the chance to extend my contract here.

"I love the club, I love playing and learning here, and I am happy for that to continue."
Joe has had his fair share of serious injuries in his relatively short time since joining from Charlton for £3.5m, with a cruciate knee ligament operation on duty with England's Under-21s just days after JK was appointed chief coach at Lfc
ChRiS> fans clamouring for new transfers should look at the bench Saturday , Mane & Lallana, Hendo, Comacho … players like Harry, Ben & Brewster not even considered, with Joe & Dejan & Ox to come back... ...its not a video game?

OUR Rafa ;
Benitez sends Liverpool warning about three players
Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has warned his old club to be wary of Napoli’s dangerous men on Tuesday night.
Benitez knows the Italian club well - he spent two seasons there before moving to Real Madrid in 2015 - and believes Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne and Jose Callejon will all cause the Reds problems."  (

... and ....  everything in life is "personal' ..this below, however, is onyl for anyone who truly cares.....

Adam...

one of my earlier "life lessons" was when I was only 19, and although an excellent organiser, team captain, (i was a magnet for "responsibility" from around the age of 10, ...
... I took on a teenage GF who already had a 6 month old child (Sarah) ... (her BF had run off and left her alone)

we had a son ADAM born after a year or so of marriage, then my wife got bored with my working too much, and left me , taking both children to have a new "adventure" with another younger man...

I was distraught, but it made me stronger and even more committed to the other aspects of my life...

I did my "duty" via a court order paying A THIRD OF MY INCOME to support my ex/& 2 children..

and regularly had them stay with me in my home with my next partner... my ex insisted that I take all responsibility for their character development...she was weak... too weak to have them ..as it turned out..however, my "ex" had a a string of BFs

about 10 years later Sarah broke down at school, and told that one of the BFs was a monster who violated, not only her, but her brother (Adam) 5 years previously..!

She was strong, it affected her , of course, however Adam became introspective, and would run away, also from my home to be with older boys.. and into trouble...

When he was a teen, he was at a "house party" with older boys who took pills and drunk a bottle of whisky, ...

he got sick, and was diagnosed schizophrenic! and got into more troube, i asked him to live with me or in MY mothers house, (my father had died) however some members of family were against it,,

then when I was active in Freiburg, I got a call from his sister (Sarah) to say that Adam had died... something had gone wrong during a hospital visit for drug use, he had been a short time in coma, and had gone...

Lesson?... always take care of people... whoever they are!
wherever you are!

his birthday would be today... 16th December!

The 16th of december would have been my sons birthday, he died suddenly, in a coma, in 1999 , a result of neglect, indirectly caused by a selfish mother and a careless society, I didn’t save him and that I will carry..all my life, respect each other and time, and when you are shown humanity, treasure it because it’s the only shield u have against the evil that is within & outside of us,,,all..
For my son, Adam ;-

"And Karma shall be my friend before I leave this planet…my spirit will live forever, in this and other dimensions.. And in those i have known, who may have forgotten, but who have never known me
..and to paraphrase..
The journey of an honest man is attacked on many sides by the injustice of the selfish and the evil within people. Be protected, in the name of charity and good will, when guiding weak through the darkness, be true and a supporter of this worlds family, and save its lost children. Or be striken by Karma and great storm , and know this, those who would poison and destroy humanity. you WILL know my name IF I must resort to vengeance, because Without respect , your words mean nothing…honesty is its

  2. Liverpool moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League after Mohamed Salah inspired them to a deserved 2-0 win at Wolves.

The forward scored his 14th goal of the season before setting up Virgil Van Dijk's clincher in the second half at Molineux.

Jurgen Klopp's unbeaten Reds, who have conceded just seven goals in 18 league games this season, will now top the table on Christmas Day regardless of Manchester City's result against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

In eight of the last nine campaigns the team top at Christmas has won the league - except Liverpool in 2013.

Wolves had not lost in matches against Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal having also upset Chelsea at Molineux and will feel they deserved something.

It was a gutsy performance but Adama Traore wasted a fine opening while Romain Saiss was denied by Alisson Becker, who kept his 11th league clean sheet of the season.

     Top of the Premier League
    ⚽️ Mo Salah top scorer
At least 19 points ahead of Man United

Merry Christmas, Liverpool fans #LFC #WOLLIV

The hosts missed the chance to moved into the top six above Manchester United as their three-game winning run was ended.

The hosts were made to pay for any profligacy when Liverpool scored with their first shot on target after 18 minutes.

Salah's deflected cross eventually found Fabinho and the midfielder swapped passes with Sadio Mane to find Salah who coolly flicked in with the outside of his boot from six yards.

In front of the highest Molineux crowd since 1981 - 31,358 - Wolves gave the Reds a scare but ultimately fell short after Van Dijk added a second with 20 minutes left.

Adam Lallana, on for the injured Naby Keita, was denied by a combination of Conor Coady and Patricio and from the resulting corner the Reds scored.

After being played short, Lallana's deep cross was only half cleared to the lurking Salah and his ball in found Van Dijk who stuck out a leg to divert it past Patricio.

    Opta match facts
Liverpool’s victory tonight means they will spend Christmas Day top of the Premier League – eight of the last nine teams to do so have gone on to win the title, with Liverpool in 2013-14 the exception.
Wolves have lost each of their last four Premier League matches against Liverpool.
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has scored more Premier League goals than any other player this season (11), netting four goals in his last two away games.
Only two teams – Chelsea in 2005-06 (49) and Man City in 2017-18 (52) – have had more points after 18 Premier League games in a season than Liverpool do this season (48).
Mohamed Salah has scored in each of his last six Premier League appearances for Liverpool against newly-promoted opposition, finding the net exactly once in each game.
Wolves have lost four of their last six home league matches – as many as in their previous 34 combined at Molineux.
Since the start of last season, Mohamed Salah has found the net against 20 of the 22 teams he’s faced with Liverpool in the Premier League, failing only against Manchester United and Swansea City.
Liverpool are unbeaten in 10 away league games (W8 D2) – their best run in the Premier League and longest since also going 10 unbeaten between October 1991 and February 1992.
Jurgen Klopp has now defeated all 32 of the British clubs he’s faced as Liverpool boss in all competitions – before tonight, Wolves were the only side he’d failed to beat, losing in the FA Cup in January 2017 in their only previous meeting.
Liverpool have won 25 league matches in 2018 – their most in a calendar year since 1990, when they also won 25.
