It’s a big game for Liverpool, but they are all big games for Liverpool now as they enter the business end of their title challenge.
manciteh FRAUD s 3-1 win over Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday moved Guardiola's side within two points, so the ball is now in the Reds' court.
It was a frustrating draw against Leicester during the week that may have extended their lead at the time to five points Perhaps an away game may be preferential as LIVERPOOL can focus on the task in hand, as there's no doubt the Anfield crowd got a little nervy against Leicester, bringing the players along with them. (ChRiS..!!!! FFS! )
The London Stadium will be a difficult venue for the leaders with Hammers fans desperate for a response after back-to-back defeats, and Liverpool will need to play like a team who have the second-best away record in the league to get back to winning ways.
Liverpool also boast excellent recent form against wHam with four goals in each of their last four games and, while you shouldn't expect another glut here, WE will want the REdS to make a statement.
so, expect the response to be a good one from Liverpool, they've been a great away side this season and although the Hammers will be no pushovers, a fast start from the away side can see them take control of this game and grab three much needed points.
Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in half of their Premier League away games and with plenty of possession on the cards they can limit the chances the hosts have to attack.
Mane has scored in his last two, bagged twice in the reverse fixture at Anfield and has been a consistent attacking threat all season. He can continue his scoring run against these favourable opponents.

- wHam boss Manuel Pellegrini has lost more Premier League games against Liverpool (5) than he has against any other club
- Mo Salah is currently on 48 Premier League goals for Liverpool. He’d be the fastest player to reach 50 with a certain club if he bags twice here (this would be his 61st game).

Nicol as almost all the ex lfc pundits of the succesful generation of players is often harder on current players than other pundits... i agree with most of what he said, Mo got a thump from Maguire early on, and i hope, as we have seen often this season, that its not going to happen every game, as defenders look to rough him up... Maguire should have been off, thats clear... perhaps the FA are citeh fans, could be that or of the london clique who hate that we constantly rail against the London establishment (especially since Hillsborough, which the FA escaped blame for) for me , Naby Keita was at least attempting to get something , too many players were as Nicol said . playing the "safe ball"

first , and HOPEFULLY ...LAST defeat of this season?
luck was not on the side of Lfc this night, nor was the ref (no surprise)
and I felt the negative vibes when the ball all but a couple of cms crossed their line..early on..
.. its the one thing that JK seems to lack in the biggest games, finals and such,,
THE piece of luck... the clearance from BEHIND their goaline when through Mo's legs..
having said that , the home side were winning far too many of the contested balls..
and ONE particlular player, i have often said is not consistently "on his game:"..
is Sadio, no surprise he was subbed,,,YES he got "hit" a couple of times...and had ref Taylor punished the obvious culprit with a yellow early on...but thats life...
... the thing that seemed apparent was that Lfc were neither one or the othet=r..
not deep and palying counter NOR goign at them,, I wanted NK on from the start
I thought Trent had a good game,,,BUT ... I would have played Clyne or Milly at RWB,
because 0-0 was ok...
OR GO ate them, generally agreed citeh have less than a great defence.. so why not attack them..
from the first it seemed Lfc were waiting for a counter chance,...
and for me, at 1-1 ... Lfc then opened up, looking for a win, when 1 point was good enough..
their 2nd goal game as a result..this is why i still criticize Jk in game ... i had hoped the team would not get caught liek this again..
having said that the away team were the "most likely " for the final 20/25 mins...
... AB was beaten by 2 top strikes..Aguero only had a half-chance ...but...I always felt that had Joe been in the team, the REdS would win this,,not that Dejan had a bad game..
the 2nd went through Trents legs..whist at the other end Mo's shot just got a finger-tip away from prrhaps winning the game.....
still , calming dowm, most supporters , if a month ago had been told that losing only 1 game (against the previous "champions" and being 4 points clear at the beginning of January ..would have been "made up" ...
niw comes the test of character... if LIVERPOOL are to be top come may ... there really is EVERY reason why all remaining games should be won..
LIVERPOOL are the best team, in the premiere and europe.. however in such games as these ..only RESULTS mean anything...#19 is on...now until May is when the players AND supporters , who from time to time are NOT convinced enough when in such games , MUST PROVE their worth...

impressive, although i felt , especially first half there was a reluctance to take risks going forward . from defence and midfield, playing the "obvious pass" ..

Ma told me as a kid " be careful arguing with idiots, others may not see the difference" .. yeah, I watch the "reactions" just for fun, most ex players could nt hack it as managers (most managers cant either!) unlike them , i dont care what mancs say, I only care about what the team do.. Milly did well against Zaha, got beat once and the defence (as a whole ) got done, I would NOT have let Clyne be released when the title is a chance, forget the bookies odds, AB didnt save any of only 3 shots on target, one being a header that either he or VVD should have cleared (both big enough to clear the lines for the 2nd goal) ..i pray for Joe to come back with the same (previous) form , if he does, I believe the League belongs to the REdS ... players will need thick skins as rivals and cockney/manc media will do as much as possible to thwart a premiere title for Lfc. the 3rd goal came when, Lfc were on 10 men and maybe Hendo let them in ( he was arguably MotM until then) ... no matter how many things I live through and life experience I have its STILL amazing how quickly someone , especially a modern "feemale" can "change... like 720 degrees! ..." just over a week ago, someone I did my best to help , who was in a difficult situation, asked me to be her BEST friend forever, and called me "guardian angel" ... so I told her the truth about her situation, I offered to go with her to "womans rights" so she could collect advice about what she can do...(without obligations) and ME being me , when I thought she (and another person she was with) was wrong TOLD her my opinion and the consequences, because thats how I live and survive this mad world, bu telling it as it is,.
I have my ego too, and I dont like being used...
and when that person I help turns aganst me .."bites my hand" I ask myself ,,,why?? ...ANSWER; because its easier to attack me , AND to admit my truth ,THAN TO DEAL WITH THE THINGS IN HER LIFE! c'est la vie! she wont be the first to do this and probably not the last, BECAUSE I WONT CHANGE BEING ME!

i know, and from experience the same goes for many "pro people" even business people arent always that good at iorganising themselves, maybe good at selling etc but not the rest... Hiya Michael, best wishes to you too, I am starting a new academy group this year ; 10-15 years old, and will see who blossoms out of that, but...I HAD one, , i lost contact with due to interference from other people, and I have my own methods which means i wont accept anyone trying to corrupt players i mentor, but I believe this young man has the potential to make it if he can be allowed to focus on his game, bit arrogant, but he could be a player, u can contact him direct, no need to mention me, (I can be :anaon: ) 🙂 he speaks quite good english too, which may help if he goes abroad because he can communicate.. https://www.facebook.com/bozo.cukovic

its my academy when it starts ,i am preparing i recruiting people now, for summer/pre season 19/20 .... u willl have to ask him direct..he played for my youth side a couple of years ago.then joined one of the top clubs here, .i think he is 17 now ok?
