REdNET upDATED ; "6 POINTER " v citeh takes PRIORITY over away day in Napoli? ( & chelski away report 2)

(unless its MoreNO ! ha ha ...  no really, he has had too many chances) .

The team didnt play to lose @ Napoli, .. Juergen got it wrong, sh&te happens... the players looked liek they had been on the P&ss ...celebrating Firm & AB's birthdays ...if Lfc had put out the "reserve team" i would have expected a better result...
JK admitted fault post match,(see press conference?)  he looked surprised but it was clear angellotti was like an italian version of "maureens mancs"  parking the bus in his own stadium to stifle the Lfc team, even italian media mentioned it before the game - i stil feel that although Jk is a fine motivator and has done wonders , sometimes the "in game management" concerns me,  subs coming on too late, expecting another late winner from Studge on 88mins, really?
we d isc ussed  on  REdNET &  @  /groups/eured.supporters/ ..remember last season the Lfc team got hammered at citeh (albeit after Mane got sent off,)  Wednesday night in Naples only Joe looked in form. its also no good fans looking for a scapegoat in Hendo or hanging it on the shoulders of Mo, none of the "fab 3" wanted it enough
.. it was like an ARSE-nal performance ..if you know what i mean/ ...
still, think about it  clearly...IF the lads are going to get a game wrong this badly , i would rather it be there which can be recovered at Anfield in the remaining group games..
..than on sunday, because a win on sunday could set up ... dare i say it , a real hope of the title...
ChRiS:
...although.
* JK says he doesnt think about "the next ganes" BUT.......WINNING the title could be greatly affected by the 3 points won or lost at Anfield next weekend...v citeh?
JK needs to get them "bonded" again before the game v citeh?

remember this ......!

........................................................so if, NK is truly FIT ...it would be ;  for me   AB ;  Trent ,  Joe,  VVD, Robbo,  - Milly Gini & NK , but probably Hendo will come in midfield as DM instead of NK...  and yes expect the "fab 3" to do their stuff ; Mane, "the firm" & Mo...    but ....please if its not going well , change it latest on 60 minutes and play the "SaS2" ;  Shaq & Studge attack......and IF you are lucky enough to be at Anfield ...STAND up and make your voice LOUD , this game is fecking important...! perhaps pivotal in the current situation of what was ..OUR club!

Carra 's opinion ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DH3XXHBa-g  picks VVD

Studge's late equaliser to secure at least a point at chelski last weekend,  Citeh regained the lead on goal difference ....Can Liverpool topple Man City in the race for the Premier League title? will the REdS TEAM have the psychological edge after already beating Pep Guardiola's City three times in competitive fixtures in 2018?
Thirteen goals in those three fixtures (one Premier League, two Champions League) just shows how wide-open these all-out attacking sides can be against each other, & it should be an entertaining watch.
a REdS win  would be a significant boost even so early into the season.

and all REdS would love to see another win like this ..

Some claim Liverpool  are slight favourites due to home advantage , however Lfc losing at Napoli risks a dent in confidence but also may (if Jk is right)  wake the REdS up for sundays battle - and supporters must do their utmost to make it a vital win ("6 pointer" would mean REdS get 3 and rival loses 3 points)

JK pre match press https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPKQIC09WWk

Mo  still looks out of sorts but is due for a big game and has scored against citeh before ... "the Firm"  has  four goals and two assists. Although is without a strike in four games now and he has previous against City's defence, scoring twice against them last season.

Meanwhile,  Aguero has started the season really well with five Premier League goals and two assists

Opta statistics and facts

Jurgen Klopp v Pep Guardiola
iverpool are unbeaten in 17 home matches against Man City in all competitions (W12 D5) since losing 2-1 at Anfield in the Premier League in May 2003.
  • Man City have lost three matches against Liverpool in 2018, losing in the Premier League in January and two Champions League matches in April. They’ve only lost four matches in one calendar year against an opponent twice before, doing so against Grimsby Town in 1936 and Spurs in 1993.
  • Both Liverpool and Man City are unbeaten in their opening seven Premier League games this season – this is the latest meeting between two unbeaten sides in the competition since 2011-12 when Man City and Newcastle met in their 12th game of the season.
  • Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in each of their last eight Premier League home games – only in February 2007 (nine games) have they had a longer such run in the competition.
  • Manchester City have lost only one of their last 25 Premier League away matches (W20 D4), though it was in this exact fixture last season (3-4).
  • Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 24 home league games, the longest current run in the Premier League (W16 D8).
  • Liverpool haven’t lost any of their last 13 Premier League home games against fellow ‘big six’ sides (W6 D7), since losing 0-1 against Manchester United in January 2016.
  • Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has had a hand in five goals in his three games against Man City for the Reds in all competitions in 2018 (3 goals, 2 assists), scoring a goal in each match.
  • Man City striker Sergio Aguero has played nine matches in all competitions at Anfield in his career (seven with Man City, two with Atletico Madrid), failing to score in any of those games, attempting just 11 shots and three on target.
  • Man City boss Pep Guardiola has lost more matches in all competitions against Jurgen Klopp (7) than he has against any other manager, losing three times against Borussia Dortmund and four times against Liverpool.
  • Man City boss Pep Guardiola has lost both of his away league games against Liverpool – he’s never lost three consecutive away games against the same club in his managerial career.
  • Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has scored 148 Premier League goals – only Thierry Henry (175 for Arsenal) has scored more in the competition with 100% of them coming for a single club.
  • Man City striker Sergio Aguero has scored 148 Premier League goals, and could become the ninth player to reach 150 in the competition.
  • Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has scored four Premier League goals against Manchester City – only against Crystal Palace (6) does he have more in the competition.

a lack of fight , for once Aldo is right... Napoli 1 Lfc NOTHING!

Team: AB, Trent, Joe, VVD, Robbo, Gini, Milly NK, , "the Firm", Mane & Mo...

BUBLE burst .. ? after the game at chelski , the pundits & fannies were creaming themselves and planning title celebrations? ...& at REdNeT we proposed saving key players for the weekend s 6 pointer but JK sticks with his öne game at a time" policy... we @ REdNET would have saved players on the bench, however when seeing the selection we thought perhapss JK wants to settle the game early then replace them ? none of it...!

so FLAT, the team looked so "flat@ , selected a strong team, but didnt turn up against a napoli side who looked for a point from the off, and stole all three, angelotti impersonating maureens mancs, if you want to win the title JK will have to get them playing 2000 % better sunday!
even before he was carried off, NK, who i fancied to light the fire, if anyone wasnt going anywhere - he also seemd subdued even before the injury ....
napoli were obviously set up to stifle... and none of the "fab 3" looked like they fancied it....I didnt get the feelign that the home crowd were that "loud" or intimidating..
Lfc just didn't play, so I feel we were right (REdNET) ..and JK should have started a team with Shaq & Studge and rolled on from their hunger, injected Clyne to give Trent a rest?? .. and saved the fab 3 keeping them fresh for sunday... I cant recall anything from that game that I would remember did Lfc even get a shot on target..?
post match ; (as with the pre - match conference the italian media as in uk just want to invent headlines and catch out the coach, some ridiculous questions and statements that dont even belong in a kindergarten
sad and worrying...look on JK's face...
and..
all the pre match comments and the "Team spirit" high;ighted from the training pictures ..
I really cant even be bothered to add match "highlights: or pictures..

* JK says he doesnt think about "the next ganes"  BUT.......WINNING the title could be greatly affected by the 3 points won or lost at Anfield next weekend...v citeh?

* we @ REdNET already suggested that Lfc should put out a similar team to last wednesdays league cup game v chelski ..in Naples

HOWEVER, I now feel that a strong side , keeping the core momentum should play in Naples whilst still saving the legs of some key players ..

 my PROPOSAL would be ..

AB
Clyne (save Trent ) Joe & VVD  (keeping the central defensive unit the same) & Robbo (who is as fit as a "butchers dog" and shd be able to play his full game at the weekend too?)
Fab (this shd be his sort of game , away in Europe, Hendo, who was subbed yestterday, & NK, who also is a big energy ball and only played part of the game (despite our wishes at the bridge,,)
Mane (another "fit" man ... Shaq .. (energy ball 2) & Studge (in form)  ..

BUT have Firm & Mo off the bench around 60 mins

to strengthen the team at latter part of the game..

retaining the "fab 3"
JK needs to get them "bonded" again before the game v citeh?

instant Match report
chelski 1 Liverpool ONLY 1
(STUDGE)

"almost the best (Reds ) team ONLY drew ..

some "pundits" reckon the result was correct, sure I will take it .. considering it took a wonder strike from Studge to take a point, in a game , where for me the REdS were better BUT , as so often loose finishing kept the chelski rent blues in the game..

Trent or someone needed to hit that cocky little xxxx hazaedous earlier than he was .. Mane hot booked for a challenge ... but...

the home side cleared off the line twice, Lfc were only "in trouble" for a thgrough ball when Robbo was moving up ..and when everyone sttopped for a foul on Mo..

apart form their goal... AB was a finger tip away from saving..BIASED..

The fab 3 still get into positions and all could SHOULD have scored... but its just not firing... as it did last season.. PLEASE do it against citeh next saturday...

Lfc remins joint top, but the blue mancs have scored more .. against ? ...the REdS having already dealt with 2 rivals away..

chelski are a decent side and look a bit like ours ..almost ... Serri got them playing a similar game and it was certainly a game to watch for the neutral..

we wanted NK on from the start and I just feel that him, instead of Hendo or Milly would have got the 3 points..

away to Napoli , when probably the likes of Fab, will get a chance , a result away,, would be nice,,, if we had a ckear week before the home game v citeh i'd be happier...

but the season ( as Shanks would say) is a marathon not a sprint..

a last word on Gini, so far the player of the season, and inspite the efforts of VVD .. was MY MotM ! ,,, always good on the ball and hardly a missed pass all game...even though he was pressed hard by the southern blue sh&te..!

chelski v LIVERPOOL
london 29 september 2018(17.30 h UK)

extractedSpL-editedbyCS&H-T

Liverpool's 100% start to the season was brought to an end by Chelsea in midweek,
now the rent-blues will be trying to stop their perfect beginning to the Premier League campaign.

A moment of brilliance from sub Hazard helped Maurizio Sarri's side book their place in the fourth round draw of the Carabao Cup.
Both teams fielded much-changed sides, so expect a different sort of game on Saturday evening.

JK admitted a new-look midfield at Anfield on Wednesday did not help his side
and he should revert to the trusty XI which tops the table after six games.

They have looked impressive this season, it must be said, as have Chelski under Sarri. collecting 16 points from 18.
Given the football played by both sides so far, it promises to be an exciting top-of-the-table clash.

As entertaining as this match could be, with both sides' first choice XIs out,
it could be difficult to separate them at Stamford Bridge. If it was at Anfield,
the temptation would be to go with Liverpool
Both quality sides, they should be well matched.

it is one thing knowing the main Lfc , threats but another being able to stop them

With goals expected, both sides' dangermen could get on the score sheet,
while corners could be expected with both teams averaging around six per game
while the magnitude of the fixture means cards aplenty should be shown.

Opta pre-match facts
Chelsea haven’t won consecutive home Premier League games against Liverpool since a run of three victories between October 2004 and September 2006 under Jose Mourinho.

Liverpool’s run of 14 league games without a clean sheet against Chelsea is their longest such run against a specific opponent in the top-flight since a streak of 17 against Blackburn (between 1947 and 1995).
Liverpool have only lost more Premier League games versus Manchester United (28) than against Chelsea (20).

Liverpool are looking to win their first seven games to a top-flight campaign for only the second time, also doing so in 1990-91. The only side to win their opening seven games to a Premier League campaign were Chelsea in 2005-06 (first nine).

No side has scored more first half goals than Liverpool in the Premier League this season (10, level with Man City), while the Reds are the only side yet to concede in the opening 45 minutes.

Liverpool have only won one of their last eight away Premier League games against fellow ‘big six’ opponents (D3 L4), though it was against Spurs this season.
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has scored five goals in his last six Premier League starts against Liverpool, including the winner in this exact fixture last season.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has scored four goals in his last two Premier League home games – as many as he had in his previous 17 at Stamford Bridge in the competition.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has won two of his three Premier League away games against Chelsea (67%) – the best win rate for visiting managers at Stamford Bridge in the competition (minimum 3 games).
Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have created more chances for each other than any other pair in the Premier League so far this season (10). "

THE ONLY Boss who will never be forgotten
Today 29th September back in 1981 - Bill Shankly died. Undoubtedly the
greatest ever influence on the reds, he MADE LIVERPOOL club and city into a world renowned entity , arrived as Manager in December 1959 and shook the club to its roots. He took us out of the Second Division in 1962 as champions and three years later led us to our first ever FA Cup. He also led us to three League titles, the UEFA Cup and another FA Cup before retiring in July 1974. First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win. ;)

i know many Lfc fans will be told to be quiet - to follow the propaganda that comes through the media and of course no one wants to have trouble when the team is winning.. but the reason that Lfc have NOT won a major trophy since 2005 is due to the boardroom policies

we , the global REdS will change all of that - so that instead of you funding their profit - supporters will share in all the future club will do... take time and watch the videos carefully.. very carefully ..

==================================================

 Liverpool 1 Chelski/ref/var 2 ?

did they take it more seriously ? it looked that way in the first half, but , on reflection changing more than half the team and then expecting everything just to roll on, was a bit of wishful thinking .. however, although the rent-blues had the better of the first half , I felt Lfc took the game in the 2nd period and , once again (and how many times do we say this about the team?) had enough chances to win the game last night....!

Shaq was buzzing, the Studge of '14 probably would have had a hat-trick, but anyway scored with an excellent acrobatic effort ... and IMO the ref ignored THREE possible pens for Lfc, and then it looked to me when VAR was used that the chelski forwards were offside? - Mo was offside last game v soton, but not the blues? - i would like to see the game again to be sure about that..

In game management - again?

for me ... 60 mins is when changes shoudl be made - by that time the coaching staff should know which way the game is going, I would have played the "big guns" Firm AND Mo for Shaq & Studge so that the "fab 3" could finish off the job?? Hendo for Milly was right although debut boy Fab still hasn't impressed me... Clyne & moreNO wont threaten the places of Trent & Robbo, Joe & VVD will IMO, replace Matip/Dejan ...

hazard-ous consequences...

it happened before v chelski , if you dont finish them off , they have players who will ...
Mignolet did well, but its clear that the following should start in London saturday ;
AB,
Trent, Joe, VVD, Robbo,
Milly, Gini , NK
Mane, Firm & Mo...
and I expect the REdS to take 3 league points back to Liverpool saturday night ...

MY  choice,,, but JK disagrees  ;)
