I went to check out the local "russia" caffe to see if the game @ stoke is on, this has to BE a "revenge week" WE Beat Stoke, with 2 Suarez goals (although the price was an injury) again dominating with about 10 shots before THEY scored , but pleased with the 1-2 vistory, as I watched at "the russia house" pleased because we should have scored 5 last time at theirs, 20 shots, and they "scored" form a pen *their only shot on goal!) then at the weekend we play at woy's west bwom..I hate the man, no I am not KD, who is respectful to the hodgsons disease that infected our club, and took me to the depths of dispair that affected my health..the worse time in the history of Lfc since before Shanks arrived in 1959..a disgrace that this fool called himself Lfc 's manager, a disgrace that we had a chelski chairman, a disgrace that banks placed a c*nt like purslow in the directors seat, a disgrace that Rafa was forced out , and a disgrace that Hicks & co were ever there or able to employ a nobody like hodgson to insult every aspect of what we believe in..("woy" on monty python's "life of brian"?) ;)
Its was a miracle that we survived, but even Kenny, bless his soul, is NOT a supporter, WE wore the black shirts, WE "sat in protest" we made the anti Hicks action (Tom & george "not welcome anywhere") BUT, WE failed to take enough action , WE should be custodians OF OUR CLUB, WE ARE LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!

Kenny Dalglish hailed the supreme display of Luis Suarez after the striker's double fired Liverpool into the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup at the expense of Stoke City on Wednesday night.
The home side had looked on course to book their place in the last eight when Kenwyne Jones punished the Reds for their wasteful finishing with a bullet header on 44 minutes.
However, a devastating second-half brace from Suarez turned the game on its head to leave the boss more than satisfied with his No.7's contribution.
Asked to describe the Uruguayan's ability, Dalglish told his post-match press conference: "Well you are the ones who are supposed to have the qualifications in English. You've got better words than me.
"I ran out of words to describe him after a week when he came to our club. His first was a fantastic goal, but I don't think you'd expect him to score with a tap-in would you?
"He could have taken one before that and maybe it would have been more comfortable for us, but it was worth waiting for."
Suarez headed the winning goal on 86 minutes but was substituted just seconds later as he appeared to limp from the field.
Dalglish explained: "He got kicked right at the end of the first half. He turned Jonathan Woodgate. He made contact with him but he tried to stay on his feet to take the chance. That's where he hurt his leg. That just emphasises what we say about the wee man. He had the opportunity to stay on his feet (and did).
"Both of his goals pleased us, but the most important thing was the way the boys went about their work.
"It was a fantastic first time ball in from Jordan (Henderson). The quality of the pass in and the header was top class.
"But you get excited about any goal don't you?"
It had looked like being another 90 minutes of frustration in front of goal for Dalglish and co until Suarez intervened.
The boss admits he was delighted with his side's response following the interval and that they finally got their reward for their inventive approach play.
He said: "Every win is important, but for us the most important thing is that we hung on in there. In the first-half we missed six chances that you would expect us to put away - at least one or two of them anyway.
"But they got one in front and in the second half the boys dug deep and defended really well. The wee man scored a fantastic goal and a good header as well.
"The win is important for everybody, but I think the most important thing was that we finished off some of the football we have been playing. In the last two or three games we have created a lot of chances and not been able to put them away. That'll give us a wee bit of confidence as well."
He added: "We are always disappointed to concede any goal, but you are not going to come here and go away unscathed are you? Normally they get a goal from somewhere - that's why they have been successful. We had to match up to Tony's (Pulis) team and make sure we passed and moved when we had the opportunity. We did that in the first half without scoring.
"The way we came back was more important to us than the mistake. It was the way we reacted to it."
The Reds will now await Saturday's quarter-final draw with interest and Dalglish admitted he was delighted that his team had taken one step closer to Wembley.
He said: "We've got our reward. We are in the hat for the next round. We can now get ourselves dusted down for another difficult game at West Brom. But certainly it's better to be in the competition than out of it. We always try to be respectful to the competition and I think Stoke were too; there were two strong teams out on the pitch tonight."
Luis Suarez struck a superb brace as Liverpool swept into the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup with a 2-1 victory over Stoke City on Wednesday night.
The Reds dominated for long spells and created countless chances but fell behind on the stroke of half-time to Kenwyne Jones's thumping header.
It looked like being another day of missed chances for the visitors until the Uruguayan conjured up some magic to drag his team level with a stunning curler just after the restart.
From that moment on there was only one winner in it and it was no surprise when Suarez pounced again four minutes from time with a header that broke Stoke hearts.
It means Kenny Dalglish's side are still fighting for honours on three fronts and will approach Saturday tea-time's showdown with West Brom in buoyant mood.
Heading into the contest in the Potteries, the Scot made eight changes to the team that was held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with Norwich City.
There was no place for captain Steven Gerrard in the travelling party but Lucas Leiva was involved from the start after serving a one-match suspension against the Canaries.
The Reds had come away empty-handed from the league encounter at the Britannia Stadium back in September and Dalglish would have urged his side to be more ruthless in front of goal on this occasion.
Indeed, the last time Liverpool visited Stoke at this stage of the league cup, back in 2000-01, they romped to an emphatic 8-0 success on their way to lifting the trophy.
Hopes of a similar scoreline may have been massively optimistic on this occasion but the travelling Kop would have felt the omens were in place for their team to book a place in the last eight and take another step towards Wembley.
They almost made the perfect start too but Andy Carroll made a hash of a free header on three minutes after he had been left unmarked for a left-wing corner.
The effervescent Suarez was busily buzzing around the Stoke rearguard and twice came close to springing the offside trap before Jonathan Walters had Pepe Reina scrambling with an audacious curler from the left-hand edge of the box.
It was a rare foray forward for the home team as Liverpool set about creating a monopoly of possession and they should have been ahead on nine minutes.
Carroll turned and attacked the Stoke defence before unleashing a stinging shot that Thomas Sorenson could only parry into the path of Suarez, but the ball rebounded too quickly for the Uruguayan and the ball flashed harmlessly wide.
The hosts responded and almost stunned Dalglish and co just seconds later when Ryan Shotton dragged well wide of the far post after a left-wing cross was flicked into his path.
The lively opening didn't look like subsiding and a super break involving Lucas, Maxi Rodriguez and Suarez ended with the No.7 curling a cheeky effort into the grateful arms of Sorenson.

Jordan Henderson hailed the fighting spirit of the Liverpool team after they came back from a goal down to reach the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup after a 2-1 win over Stoke City on Wednesday night.
Kenny Dalglish's charges claimed their first victory at the Britannia Stadium since 2000 after Luis Suarez netted twice to sink Tony Pulis's side.
Henderson enjoyed an excellent 90 minute outing and gave the team great energy down the right hand side.
"I thought we started the game very well and created a lot of chances," Henderson told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"Even when we went 1-0 down we didn't give up and we always knew we could come back strongly, and we are over the moon with the win.
"The first goal was just fantastic and a bit of brilliance from Luis, but we are used to that because we see it all of the time."
Liverpool's No.14 played a key role in the winning goal when his cross found the head of Suarez who buried the ball past Thomas Sorensen into the back of the net.
He added: "The finish was brilliant again from Luis. I just managed to knock the ball back in the box and he did the rest."
After three ties away from home in the competition Liverpool now eagerly await Saturday's draw, but Henderson prefers not to look too far ahead, and is just taking each game at a time.
"We are not bothered who we get, and we'll wait for the draw and see what it gives us. We just want to go as far as we can in the competition.
"We now have an important game at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday and that is our next concern getting the three points."
Liverpool Reserves secured their first victory of the season with a 3-1 success over Chelsea at the Academy on Wednesday afternoon.
An impressive first-half performance from the Reds saw Raheem Sterling give them a deserved lead when his shot from distance was deflected into the back of the net.
The winger then turned provider, sending in a low cross which was tapped in by Adam Morgan from close range to give the hosts a two-goal advantage heading into the break.
Sterling claimed another assist shortly after half-time when his pass allowed Conor Coady to spring the Chelsea offside trap and coolly convert.
Aliu Djalo netted a consolation for the visitors late on, but Liverpool were able to see out the contest to claim a well-deserved three points.

Academy director of recruitment Stuart Webber believes Liverpool's two Chinese trialists could yet have a future at the club.
Long Chen, 16, and Chen Xiao Mao, 14, have now returned to their homeland following a successful stint in Kirkby.
There are no current plans to make their Liverpool dream a reality, but Webber is keen to commence a long-term programme that could help assist with their development.
Webber told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Both boys have done really well. They've probably done better than we thought if we are being totally honest about it.
"They've taken to the training with great enthusiasm but unfortunately, because they are so young, we can't actually sign them at this moment in time.
"What we want to do is set up a programme whereby we bring them over again after Christmas; then again next summer as well as in October next year.
"We've seen how they have adapted to this environment and got to know their level of ability. They've both done well and the next step will be us coming up with a proper plan so we can support them.
"We'll see where that takes us over the next year or two. Youth football needs to have a more long-term outlook and hopefully we can come up with a plan that sees us all achieve something out of this."
there were games like this , even during the times of Shanks & Paisley, when we did everything.(but score0 .sure we have to be more clinical, but the team is also "favoured" with several new players that dont quite know each others game yet..the pressure of 20 seasons without the league should not deny us a little bit more faith...with a little more "luck " and better finishing..that fortune often brings..the games against sunderland, stoke, mancs & norwich could all have been won comfortably.. and 9 points better off would see us leading the table..its a shame if we are already "out of patience" ?
Kenny Dalglish is confident a repeat of their display at the Britannia Stadium earlier this season can secure Liverpool a place in the next round of the Carling Cup against Stoke City on Wednesday night.
Despite dominating the game for long periods, and conjuring up 20 efforts on goal, the Reds went down to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Tony Pulis's side in September's Barclays Premier League meeting.
However, Dalglish believes a bit of good fortune was the only thing lacking from the performance on that occasion and maintains a similar showing will go some way towards ensuring the Reds progress into the quarter-finals of the competition.
"We've just got to get over it and get on with it," the boss told Liverpoolfc.tv. "We don't want to get into the habit of saying we played really well and got nothing.
"We've got to make our good play count. Obviously you need a little bit of luck every now and then, but I think there's no doubting the ability of the players or level of performance they put on last time at Stoke.
"If they play as well as that this time, then I'm sure the luck will come their way."
Kenny wants same again
Liverpool will head to the Britannia on the back of a 1-1 Anfield draw with Norwich City on Saturday.
The Reds controlled the majority of the play, but were unable to turn a succession of chances in goals. Nonetheless, Dalglish feels there are plenty of positives to be derived from the display and is in no doubt his side will soon hit the goal trail.
"The most important thing was the performance," he reflected. "I don't think it matters what game you play, at some stage the opposition are going to have some say in the matter.
"I think overall in the game, most of the things we did I am very happy with - and if we can create that many chances, or half that many chances, in a lot of games we'll score four or five.
"But it's all very well and good creating the chances, we've got to make the goalkeeper work a little bit harder as well.
"The most pleasing thing was the way they (the players) did cut Norwich open because they played at Old Trafford a few weeks ago and were really unlucky to come away without any points, so maybe this time they got their little bit of luck at our place.
"As I said, the players cannot be too down because they did fantastic in many aspects of the game - they just never got what they were deserving of. Sometimes that happens.
"I'm sure there will be a lot of games where we're a lot worse than that and come away with three points. The sooner that happens, the better!"
While Dalglish acknowledges his charges were left disappointed with Saturday's draw, he's been pleased by their reaction in the build up to tomorrow's journey to the Britannia.
The manager added: "They are not going to get into the habit of accepting a 1-1 draw at home, and they also won't accept not working the goalkeeper harder than what we did on Saturday when we get into good positions.
"Their disappointment is pleasant for us to see because at the end of the day, they want to win games the same as we do.
"For us, the most important thing is their attitude and approach to the game because they've got tonnes of ability."
Dalglish has opted to deploy strong starting XIs in both of Liverpool's Carling Cup matches so far this season against Exeter City and Brighton Hove Albion.
And the boss was eager to reaffirm the Reds' desire to go all the way in a competition they've won a record seven times.
"I think we've said after both games about the players' attitude and commitment," said Dalglish. "We've made several changes for both games - and the way they went about their work was a great reflection on the pride they have in themselves and also the football club.
"It will be the same for us at Stoke. They are a Premier League club and we'll put a very strong team out again - and we expect the same level of commitment and effort from the players.
"We cannot guarantee anything other than we're going to work hard to try and get a result - and we don't try and kid anybody that we're trying to underestimate the tournament.
"We take it seriously and we'll be going to try and get a result. It's a trophy - and we'd love to win a trophy at some stage."
Dalglish confirmed he has a near-fully fit squad to select from, with Danny Wilson, Jack Robinson and Brad Jones the only injury doubts, while Alexander Doni could be involved despite dislocating his finger in last week's friendly with Rangers.
The Scot said: "It's more or less the same as what we had before. Danny Wilson and Jack Robinson are the only two, and Brad Jones has a thigh injury.
"Although Doni's finger is not quite right, it's great credit to him he was prepared to sit on the bench (against Norwich) and we'll see how he is tomorrow."
Meanwhile, Dalglish admits he's delighted to be able to call upon the services of the fit-again Glen Johnson once more.
The England defender made his first start of the season against Norwich on Saturday after recovering from a hamstring problem which had previously restricted his appearances in 2011-12 to just a nine-minute run out against Stoke last month.
"It's great to have him back," said Dalglish. "It's a wee bit unfortunate on Martin Kelly that Glen went in and played, but it just shows you the quality of people we have in the squad and that's what we want.
"Glen certainly did well and it might have been a wee bit of a risk to put him back in as early as that, but he had around 65 minutes at Ibrox (against Rangers) and that helped him.
"We're delighted to see him back and also have a wee bit of heavy heart for Kells as well."

communictions have been "difficult" since 2001 when I had a dispute with the then Lfc membership sec (Suzanne) concerning an official supporters club iregistered for fans based in central europe (german french & swizz borderregion) when I was living in and around Freiburg, add to that various "blocks"by "agencies" that want to shut me up
..and yes, communication is a sensitive issue (* its no "coincidence" that nearly every "vital" message is "spam"??)
Even whilst i was a member of S.O.S , who you also represented , I didnt receive acknowledgement of complaints against Lfc, direct, nor via sos, through 3 years of membership, on the contary Graham Smith etc seemed to take exception to my initiatives, and warnings made via "the KOP" prior during and after the disasterous sale to Hicks etc & later s.o.s. continued to try to shut me up.
although EVERY action I made was in the BEST interests of OUR supporters;worldwide. I offered the sos chairman my full time support, voluntarily, he ignored that, which to me, was an insult!! as I result I no longer subscribe to an organisation named after a man I love & respect!

When I get "robotic" replies from committee members, to my communications,I get even more frustrated that this committee will follow the computerised andimpersonal "customer service" response..and valid isues will go down that "blackhole" too..
Lfc failed to transfer my "history" from previous fancards, meanng i missed big games, or had to rely on mates to get my tickets, my last member card only worked ONCE online last year, I now have an international member card,and that was refused twice in the club shop, when I approach the office aboutemail or postal complaints, they cant FIND them!!!!
so PLEASE do NOT tell me to follow channels.. I am not a kid , I have managed global networks
do you really believe that the decision to make the first ever meetings minutes "secret" acceptable? (and you know I mean the meeting before the meeting with the board) ??? surely WE have the right to know HOW you decide to present questions, which, questions, issues, complaints or policies your committee will support, and which ones went "in the bin" ? (the absence of these minutes and the supporters shareholding issue which WAS supported by YOU Union, makes me suspiscious)
b) The records of the meeting with the board, wasn't ALWAYS identified, as to who raised what question, this has been "tidied" ) we need to see who is "active" in our interests and who isnt.
c) LFC is a global entity with 7 million registerd "fans" on facebook, I have2 websites, 4 blogs a network connetced to 25,000 organisations worldide and a personal Fb "wall" with over 2000 people on it, the vast majority of communications taking up at least 4-6 hours of my day…
YOU and ALL the committee, you say are "volunteers" BUT you APPLIED and were "honoured" to represent not only one of the greatest clubs in football, but a global culture, which, despite Ian Ayres ignoring the please of "Balkan REdS" WE LIVE for day to day, I would gladly argue with you or anyone at LFC live on the channel, about what is wrong and how it could be repaired, but DONT INSULT me by being UPSET by my challenges, they ARE based on EXPERIENCE which was gained even before you were born!
please dont complain about this honourable situation... there are thousands who would do it and be happy !
It was purely out of respect for your Granda, that I didnt "bother" you previousy..its because people as myself were IGNORED that we had ourt most disasterous years since Shanks arrived!

should be a LFC OFFICIAL initiative to achieve 50% shared ownership by 2010!!
each "committee" member should consider "delegation" , if they cant deal with ALL communications themselves within 48 hrs, each one could have a network..made up of those "unlucky" committee applicants ; in the case of the International membership this is VITAL as 2 people can not represent such a widearea of diverse cultures and languages etc,,
thats it for now, I hope we can achieve an understanding, as I dont feel you can appreciate how it feels seeing our club being damaged from outside, and excluded from the situation in the process. I dislike this "conflict" more than you do!!

I have previously responded to Chris about the minutes of our pre-meeting so
I am a little unclear as to the purpose of your email. (The other members did
not respond since it was agreed that I would respond to Chris's question.) Just
to restate: the minutes are of a pre- meeting and they will not be published. If
this fact changes in the future, we will inform supporters. This does not mean
that there is anything clandestine in the meetings. In fact, I am now beginning
to take rather seriously insistent claims that there is something unethical
going on with the Committee. Since I am involved in the Committee, there is an
implication that I am too am behaving "unethically" and I take great offence at
such an implication about myself or any of the other Committee members.
The members of the Committee are all volunteers (myself included), most of us
have families and full time jobs. We all share one aim and that is to try to
improve the supporters' experience within the existing structure. We are in our
second month of existence and we have all been working as hard as we can to this
end. I therefore find aggressively worded emails about whether we are conducting
our meetings properly and ethically, offensive in the extreme.
If you have any problems at all as a supporter, please report them clearly
and specifically to the member in charge of your constituency. We will do our
best to deal with legitimate problems. Also, constructive criticism or practical
suggestions are always welcome.

I enjoyed playing again sunday, I can feel my fitness getting stronger each game, my co-ordination too,
and I can start to get forward and join attacks more, as the "long ball" is rarely effective, we still dont talk enough..
twice, players were behind me and no one told me,. and we lost goals , i think we drew the game... our players need to see me , because often i find space down the right, by arriving "late"... anyway after being away for a week I enjoyed the energy.. and I suggest Lfc Monty co-operates with Luka and we join their "fans tourny" ..I didnt feel like a team player on saturday as NO-one came except 2 foreigners, NOt one of the team and I have a fridge of beer.. so i suggest you pick me up by taxi next sunday and i'll bring some beers to drink after our game ok?
