this saturday will be another big test for the top Teams , whilst we have a good recent record at palace.. i will always remember 2014, ... when the BR tactics in game v chelski and at palace ..cost us the league,,, LIVERPOOL seem to have the intent, the will to win, and the blue mancs play chelski... Leicester are in the mix BUT its early days with 2/3rds of the season and a very hectic December to over come, its crazy when u see that there are only 3 league fixtures in march,,!!!

so join Fab in the more defensive line of midfield, then Gini & Hendo play in the next line with Bobby playing in between that 2 and Mane & Mo.. yesterday I was clamouring for Joe to play CB if JK played a "highline" but instead Juergen had them sitting deeper at CB. allowing the blue mancs the ball and often cuttign out the midfield with long balls.. 

1. Gini and Hendo were as excellent as Fab & the 2 wing halves in covering a very wide area, but it worked...they soaked up the pressure and countered, which is what IMO Pep should have done, and stolen a point.. but he didnt and I think THAT is the reason he was even MORE angry about losing..

as Jk chose a deeper defensive shape .. it "worked" 

although the away side started string it was a screamer from Fab , a shot liek an arrow that caught them out,  after a run down the wing by Sadio and some hustle in their penalty area , the ball broke out and Feb caught it beautifully as it shot past Bravo, before he could move.

the blue mance had attacked from the start,  i feel guardiola  wanted a goal  and then to play counter,   but 2 hand balls were not punished (by either side) .. and that  arrowed Fab goal against the run of the play, opened it up,,  then a 3 pass move with Trent , cross field to Robbo , swung back to Mo,, goal two,.. nil.. i didnt like JKs tactics,, giving the blue mancs territory and played like it was an away game... but it :worked:

thank goodness, no fecking VAR and ref Oliver was strong against the clamours of the blue manc fraud klub... 

it was hectic and the REdS didnt play like champions in control, but as contenders intent on knocking out the premiere league chumps...

I ,again, say I dont like how JK defends a lead in big game.. Joe coming on to bolster a defence just gave territory to manc citeh... AB DIDNT LOOK THAT COMFORTABLE..BUT HE MADE A SAVE or 2 when needed....

Gini was MY MotM, keeping  possession, fought like a tiger, linked midfield with attack and supported defence & won umpteen battles... 

it was a game to watch... action & drama,   the REdS looked calmer and more controlled in the 2nd half , with more of the ball and better passing , got Hendo down the line , right side, and crossed perfectly for Mane to score YET again.

The mancs had the better of the latter game as JK had (a mistake in my book) set up the subs Milly Ox & Joe to defend, removing Mo & Firm & Hendo..  I would have put on origi to stretch the away side to stem their attacks.. but 3- 1 after Bernado (>) ? still is a decent scoreline.. although yet again, ni clean sheet and another pause before the away game at palace on the 23rd,,,
