Stll a hot summer here in "Monty" but already feels that we are well into another long fighting season..

I proposed Joe G in the selection v the gooners but, Trent & Matip performed especially Joel, and I like that "someone" has heard our claim that CBs should get forward into midfield and challenge packed defences, the cockney club attempted a defensive / counter structure but, that, IMO, took away most of their attacking danger (apart from when Adrian had a rush to the head and randomly cleared ..to them) :)

All in all though Adrian, is arguably a better number 2 than Mign. much better than Karius but...I still would have given Pepe Reina another time at Anfield.. probably because, {Pepe) was the best GK since Clem, especially sweeping behind the CBs and distribution was at least as good as AB (who is still injured as I write.. anyway the REdS looked on their way back to their best ..so early in the season...

So probably the TEAM should stay the same.  no one seems to need a rest, so , for me the likes of Ox, Shaq, Milly, Joe, Rhian, & Lallana, are still likely only to see the latter parts of the game at burnley

Although I can see Joe & co getting more chances when European games, & midweek fixtures etc kick in...

burnley have been about as impressive as you can be when winning just once in three games, seeing as they were unlucky to both lose at Arsenal and draw at Wolves - that's two fine displays at two tough away grounds.

Now the big test for Sean Dyche's men comes with the European champions who've also had a week off after pummeling Arsenal into submission to prepare for what is a tricky test at Turf Moor.

Both teams usually score in this and, while we know all about Liverpool's goal threat, ashley barnes has been like a man possessed this year with 13 goals in 2019 and four already this season.

Mane still looks the MAIN threat to burnley
despite Mos great goal v arse nal.

dyche would be wise to try and get plenty of pressure on Adrian early and often, but it's not that easy getting the ball off this Liverpool side and they're always up for a battle - which this game certainly is. The Reds should have enough but they may again struggle to keep a clean sheet.
