REdNET bootroom update ; "back to basics - getting our MoJOe playing?" pre LIVERpool v fulham

You may want to input our recent notes from       /2018/11/rednet-update-after-arse-pre-belgrade.html    and       if YOU DARE TO BE REd? - :- rednet.2018/11/you-can-stick-your-hype-up-your-arse.htm

as LIVERPOOL play at HOME v fulham sunday mid-day ....then have a "pause" so ...

BACK to BASICS

Now the REdS have a solid Central defensive unit, I would like the team to revert to the style that did well last season...mostly

for me. Fab should have played in Belgrade (to redeem himself after failing to make his mark in the game at the emirates..).....

whilst JK must obviously "rotate"sometimes, the team has suffered form and from too many changes ... despite a seemingluy enviable league position, ..unbeaten as I write..

if Joe is fit play him and VVd as CBs (if not then Dejan)  ..and against Fulham , the REdS need to show the basic attacking style that won through last season.. with AB and a CB partnership as good as any, the REdS should not need to reinforce defensively

the only other changes I would make , as JK opted to throw Joe and Bobby on in the 2nd half in Belgrade (a risk wrongly taken, IMO) would to bring in  NK and Shaq instead of 1 of the Fab3 ...and also give Milly a rest if Hendo is fit...

so  for me... if all fit

                              AB
Joe  &  VVD    (Dejan if Gomez is not 100% fit)
           Trent    Hendo  Gini     Robbo
NK      &  "the Firm"  &   Mane
              (or Shaq ...depending on fitness)
                               Mo ....

... give Trent a chance to play out of a dip and he will surely get forward at Anfield.. Robbo ..with Hendo & Gini supporting NK in midfield and the fab 3 up front,  we gain nothing by constant change ...lets get our MoJoe working...:)..(before the pause)

MoJOe playing.

what a co-incidence...JK mentioned "MoJo" just a day after we made this song..

a reminds of the tune... (from Eric & co..)

& singing you our new song...  song for Mo & Joe.... ?

-have Mo & Joe playing, not much that they cant do
-Got Mo & Joe playing , Mo scores, or might score 2
-love the REdS so much, Team knows what to do

I'm going to our Anfield a to see the Kopites stand

I'm going to our Anfield a to give our REd team my hand

WE gonna have all you opponents under our command

Got Mo & Joe playing
Got Mo & Joe playing
Got Mo & Joe playing
Got Mo & Joe playing

Got Mo & Joe playing , not much that they cant do"

(* tune "Mojo working") by Liverbirds/  :)  /

from Belgrade , without Love..

The team at emiratesi n Purple , which looked TOO BLUE-ish in Belgarde floodlights?

i just feel the set up was wrong..for me the premiere is the priority, not even citeh could win both premiere and champions league in same season IMO,

..so i proposed a "fringe team" who strangely may have been more engaged than the lads who have played every game (Bobby has player 69 games since start of last season, ) i would have rested most of the "first team"  because sticking Matip, who has played 5 mins of first team footy this season in at CB, means there is already a risk, and so it proved.. however there was some "bug" which prevented Clyne & Dejan travelling ..so my idea was anyway scuppeered...

the atmosphere should not affect Pros if they intend to win titles.. especially as the pitch is some distance from the crowd, although noisy.. for me the plain aspect is

 a) players playing a different system
 b) key players a bit jaded and
c) a bit of complacency ,
and also
d) the home side (as on saturday at the emirates;  starting very strong,

a lot of fans talk about the techniques and want pretty dribbles and  such, and forget that
 1.  you dont win games if you cant win the ball
and
2, to score goals you have to shoot!  (0 shots on target in first half...!)  anyway i would like Juergen to go back to the basic style of last season and hopefully play  our best 11 on sunday.. because just maybe the mancs draw rheir derby and Lfc need to score a few goals and clean the slate..

suggest there are larger concerns; you could be asking the Lfc board if they are backing the investigation of Citeh, UEFA & FIFA, prompted by "Der Spiegel" ? or is it too big for you?

the corruption by clubs like manciteh and the manipulation of info by UEFA , FIFA , the FA , FSCXG etc etc  would not be allowed when the plan below is evolved.. see http://travellingpeach.com/article-sports.php?article=149

Liverpool v Fulham (Sunday, 1200 GMT, BT Sport 1) SpL media : (CS editing)
Many expected Liverpool to be up there fighting for the Premier League title this season; few expected Fulham to be fighting like they are at the bottom end.

Fulhams' summer spending and impressive additions have so far failed to get points on the board, largely due to Slavisa Jokanovic's poor - and ever-changing - defence.having already shipped 29 goals this term in just 11 games and the last thing you want in this vein of form is a trip to Anfield. A glimmer of hope can be found in the fact Liverpool's front three are yet to hit top gear; the worry is it could happen at any moment.

this should be a regulation home win. it would be unwisw for players or Lfc to assume this will be easy..

The Reds have made an unbeaten start to the season, winning eight - keeping pace with Man City and Chelsea at the top.

In previous years, this sort of fixture has proved to be a banana skin, where they drop cheap points against a bottom-half opponent. After drawing with both their title challengers, Important Lfc are beating the lesser teams who up their game on their visit to Anfield

Liverpool struggled to 'find their mojo' in Belgrade but it should not be an issue here as Jurgen looks for a response. The Tuesday-Sunday turnaround gives them plenty of time for recovery and preparation. Fulham's luck has not been in of late, conceding an own goal at Huddersfield before having one ruled out for offside, and their defensive woes could cost them their Premier League status. Matches against those around them are more important for the Cottagers, whose goal difference could take another hit on Sunday as pressure piles on Jokanovic. MO has scored four in his last five appearances, with fans hoping he is starting to regain last season's form, and he averages nearly four shots per game in the Premier League.

VVD's aerial presence likely to cause issues from set pieces. He had two headed attempts in midweek and this fixture could be the one when he opens his league account for the Reds this season.

    1. Opta statistics

Liverpool have won their last four Premier League matches against Fulham, though this is their first league meeting since February 2014.
In all competitions, Fulham have managed just one win in their 33 away visits to Liverpool (D9 L23), scoring just four times in their last 17 games at Anfield.
Fulham have won just one of their 54 away league games on Merseyside against Liverpool and Everton (D11 L42), a 1-0 win against Liverpool in May 2012.
Liverpool have won all eight home Premier League games under Jurgen Klopp against newly-promoted teams, scoring 25 goals and conceding just three.
Fulham have taken one point from their last 18 Premier League games against the ‘big six’ sides (W0 D1 L17), losing all three games this season by an aggregate score of 2-11.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 26 Premier League home games, their longest such run since August 2009 (31 games).
Coming into the weekend, Fulham are one of just three teams yet to keep a clean sheet in English league football this season (along with Macclesfield and Sheffield Wednesday).
In their three Premier League games immediately following a Champions League fixture this season, Liverpool have scored exactly the same number of goals as they did in their European match (3 vs PSG/Southampton, 0 vs Napoli/Man City, 4 vs Red Star/Cardiff).
Daniel Sturridge has had a hand in five goals in his last three Premier League games against Fulham for Liverpool (4 goals, 1 assist).
For Liverpool in the Premier League, Mohamed Salah is averaging a goal or assist every 66 minutes against newly promoted teams (4 goals, 5 assists in 592 minutes).

  3. LIVERPOOL 2 fulham 0 ( Mo & Shaq) ................instant match review (almost ) ChRiS > hate early kick offs, and on a sunday , at least it wasnt away at the south coast,,,in the Anfield sunshine, the REdS huffed and puffed the early game.. for me, Gini and the CBs should have pushed the line up , but some half chances ,,and Trent was getting frustrated with himself..he wants ti.. the scouse lad, no worries except when Joe took his eye of it.. Tent reacted well after the narrow offside call denied the talented but ineffective fulham team any rewards (they are better than bottom BTW!) ,,,

a sharp long ball and for once Mo wasn't crowded by 5 defenders , slotted home 1-0

a home goal either side of half time 81% possession and 20 shots of which Mane and Sgaq might have scored a hat full.. Gini always neat on the ball.. Joe VVD and AB sound... and Robbo (MotM?) knows crossing first time causes probs .. Shaq buried it and he will be happy , we are too..

never mind what happens at the scum derby..top of the league 9 wins and 3 draws.. yes sure i moan, but really....

its more than good enough, sustain this pressure,.

Hendo for Gini, did anyone notice.?

and sorry JK, for me NK on for Shaq on 70 mins give the lad some match time..

Mane ..again in & out of the game has so much in his locker , i expect more.. but Bobby back to being the link, what a shift he put in ...!

Mo ..well one day he is gonna score 10 ...

but no ref is gonna give Lfc a pen.....

credit to the away side, who kept playing footy form start. if they ever get it together they will cause problems ..hope its not for us in London ...

and now the HATED nationalistic pause... please JK talk to out players when they go to play for those other non Lfc teams.. come back with 100% because a big winter autumn/winter awaits the "Challengers "
    3 points ..

enjoy it, even for a few hours...

got the MoJOe working again.. don't lose it before June, please!
