1-1 and a big sh&tty mac for the winner on pens :p Apart from top forwards Mane & Aguero missing from both sides the game was entertaining
and the REdS looked more likely to win it before the end ..,,,
hitting the post & Bar and having Mo's header cleared off the line by Walker
(deja vu of the ga,e at the Etihad last season when again LIVERPOOL played the better game
) the blue mancs started better, but considering the disrupted pre-season
..REdS can feel good about the game itself..
reminded me of the game in Etihad last season,,
Liverpool look the better Team despite the pens,
I feel sorry for Gini he didnt hit his pen very well,
and AB failed to save any of the mancs.

.c'est la vie, I NEVER wanted to win a trophy sponsored by USA corp MacDonald sh&te anyway :P

Pep's set up was very defensive to also stop the wide runs of Trent & Robbo..
I like Joe at CB but perhaps moving Matip back in and Joe at Right wing back made sense
2nd half, as Trent wasnt getting much space and the mancs were pressing down that side

Lfc is a rich club ..valued at around 2 billion USD ...with minimal re-investment by Billionaires - backed fs group ... it a great "con - trick"  that would make the even the smartest GRIFTER smile to have fans thanking J W***** H & Werner, Moores etc for tripling the value of THEIR asset on the back of loyal local & global (30 milion_+ on the net?) support , (3 new kits , with USA sponsors ALSO advertised via ANOTHER TIRING USA pre season tour) and massive income from TV & European campaigns... I BET not one of the boardroom sharks suggested that JK should sacrifice Champions league & prioritize Premiere league...?

 then... select 2 seperate teams tonight... starting with Mign, Clyne, Phillips, Joe, Larouci, Milly, Lallana, Ox, Kent, Wilson, Rhian ... the REdS looked sharpish for a first outing... Clyne getting a rare goal.. wonder if he will stay as cover for Trent & Robbo? .. Rhian looked sharp especially getting his header in for the first , and followup up Millys shot for his 2nd.. .. Ox looked like he took a knock and tranmere were quite physical, Larouci might have scored 2 ..looks pacey .. Kent & Wilson both might have done more but its the first game so its more like a training session for the REdS ... Lallana will be happy with comign through ..looks ok too.

  • REdNeT 2nd half team; Jaros, Hoever, Matip, Johnston, Lewis, Fabinho, Jones, Woodburn, Duncan, Glatzel, Origi.

  • REdNeT full tiime 0-6 with goals from Jones , Origi (with a great touch and finish) and Duncan.. with a nother 45 mins of sharp inter passing, a good run-out for the REdS..

h-t 0-3 Milly with a brace, ( i diverted shot & a pen after Kent being brought down..) and Rhian making it 3 (and 3 so far in his pre-season) .. Mign only had a couple of shots to deal with (both offside from dead ball ) .. Midfield of Lallana (in a holding role) Milly & Ox looking sharp.. Milly his usual busy self, and Ox was especially looking more like his form pre injury.,.. up front Kent has been the busiest , Brewster & Wilson moving well, fairly comfortable ru n out so far... all change (except goalkeeper) at half time..

@2nd half ..game went a bit flat... Jones had a lot of the ball, but there wasn't much movement around him, bradford defended deeper , Lewis (LWB) looked good going forward but rashly gave away the pen.. Ben seemed todrift in & out of the game without the impact that he prevously showed, Joe, Matip & Fab were sound enough but really coasted and maybe could have given more to the attack..
Lfc lacked a driving player ,
that OX & Milly were in the first half...

 Great work by Gini , AND A cross from Robbo headed by Hendo forced a save that Origi slotted home...  Gini got targeted by some UN friendly tackling but arguably earned MotM when he scored to make it 2-1 ... Lfc tested fringe players late on with "Sporting" equalizing to make it 2-2..

 NOTE the USA corp have bad Karma.,..  Lfc should be seen pre season by support in Europe and /or Asia where there are MORE supporting LIVERPOOL than in USA but the sharks in the boardroom feed the commercial giant and the US sponosrs wishes anD THIS IS A MAJOR SCANDAL that they want to TRADEMARK "Liverpool" ...claiming it is for the beenfit of Lfc fans when its just to make more money for the billionaires of Henry-werner/fs group & their sharks in the boardroom!!!


Ox had a problem,, thats a worry as he was looking good so far in the pre -season games..

a boring game,  the team playing a 3rd kit for some usual BS marking reason ...
matched the outfit , nothing special... looked lazy , no passion and IMO the ridiculous USA commercial tour takes too much out of the players,,  but of course , other excuses wil be offered up,  without 4 of the automatic first teamers, 

 I still dont get what advantage Jk has in playing Gini up front,  ..surely Gini needs to get his midfield "rhythm" sorted ,   Juergen could play Harry or Brewster form the start ...  its unlikely and IMO wrong to  expect Gini to play left sided forward  and then compete for one of the midfield slots v Fab, Hendo, Naby, Milly etc ...  

 anyway Origi might have scored early on,  but Napoli fans were the happier (and the louder)  Matip failing to close down Insigne ... 

 technically the scoreline doesnt help the squad, and I am sure i will be reminded that its for fitness sake, ..but getting results is a habit and losing games can become a bad habit with only manciteh fraud club to play before the first game v Norwich,...

 Jk played a lot of subs in the 2nd half, ...and I like Juergen but never see the point of giving a sub anything less than 20/25 mins ....unless you intend to do so, to spol the game whilst ahead ...
60 thousand there to watch Lfc/Robbo.... were so fecking quiet... do whats the point of making an effort to watch a virtual training exercise  and ten pretend its cricket ???

Ox looked sharper,   and Adam L too,  a cracker from Harry Wilson , showed that he MIGHT be able to transfer his goals for derby last season to the first team..  Shaq & Naby back plus 2/3rds of the fab 3 ..  

 and a sharp swivel and left foot by Bobby "the Firm" looks to be almost back in business ..AB fouled up his first touch, which amused Juergen, and the team took the 15 mins to settle into a better form.. looked the better side after that,

 as JK dampens down expectation as the squad prepare to meet the blue mancs in the community (CHARITY) shield showcase .. 


 and Hoever looked promising for a 17years old ...

its true that money is and has not been a correct excuse, Lfc is RICH, and   FS group are backed by several billionaires, who prefer to buiuld up the asset of Lfc in to a 2 billion dollar concern through sponsorships tv , kit sales etc and selling players before investing... but Juergen is making this decision too..  

 BUT to balance it,, the TEAM spirit of this suqad is exceptional ,,  and at some stage you have to let youth / loanees get a chance .. Ox, Joe, Lallana, Shaq, Origi , Brewster , Kent, Jones & Wilson could argue they deserve a chance..

  we shall see if Juergen can maintain the continuity from last season... the amount of summer football worries me .. with Bobby, Mo & especially Sadio coming back late when we need to be 100% at the start of the season? 
btw NABY may be the answer too ??  he hardly played much last season...
