REdNET Update ; Bootroom opinion, Blipping Team, fickle fan nies and coach v bus ' pre Bournemouth at "Home"

Pre

LIVERPOOL v bournemouth

was tempted to add "L" to club name,  i think JK has to change his attitude and the players, cant keep on with being "learner-drivers" of the Premiere, CHAMPIONS have to show it.. and take command of the position, this is NOT the bundesliga...

LIVERPOOL (and i dont care if you dont like talking about "previous" ) are a  Champion , trophy winning ,club.. you knew that when you took the job, coach or players... SHOW you ARE WORTHY... and that goes for the ANFIELD "spectators" saturday, so far YOU DO NOT deserve TOP billing!

Hoping the "blip" is over...

ChRiS> Tuesday morning,...and I think the reaction from Fan nies and "pundits" makes me want to throw up more than the 5th draw of the season...

somehow , this situation reminds me how Rafa's REdS got booed when top of the table, also for failing to beat whammers at ANFIELD!  dont tell me how great MODERN Lfc fans are they are maateurs compared with our generation of Shanks boys

...on social media posting reminds to the opposition that Lfc scored 4 past them in the last 4 games..?????

ASSuming , even after THREE first team players, inc captain Hendo (Gini & Dejan)
givimg Lalla his first start of the league season (since when? over a year?) ...

claiming , almost demanding , that the Team will automatically win in London, Pelligrini set wham up to get a result (especially must have worked on getting late runners at free kicks which causes any team trouble and why dont Lfc coaching do this? )

why dont Lfc do better from free kicks corners etc ..VVD, Matip or Dejan...? )  ... i also feel selections, management decisions and tactics could be improved, (and dont get me started on Clyne's release mid season..) we may have won Champions league if Phil had been (rightly) retained a year ago,  I will heat up the campaign if Clyne's absence causes another failed season!

ah,,, i better calm down before I get started on the idiots who still hail the USAcorp boardrooom sharks for using our money & selling top players to eventually make a title challenge after 12 seasons without a major trophy..

-------------

hypocrites! TAW is not much better than those who knee-jerk! over ANALysis & extreme pre-post matcha hype, bigging up when silence would not go amiss! plus society is weker, & reflected in the Anfield crowd "spectators" balls needed on & off the pitch #censoRED #LbiRD

so many fail to get it, that route cause is the pressure mounting since 2007, when the first wave of boardroom sharks arrived.. no major trophy in 12 seasons is too much for inexperienced fans, and true REdS who know how to support a Team are fewer & fewer every season..

o ignore that they only spent the accumulated income THIS last year..is the reason NOW is the first believable title challenge, even UEFA #1 ranking Rafa's REdS had no backing..

its the same as UK politics , you argue about a sore thumb , whilst the "patient" is dying of a heart attack!

I like Juergen but he is their employee, after all!

Team and supporters have had the "blip" now they have to show they are worthy of the title "Champions"

LIVERPOOL have a real chance to get their Premier League title charge back on track after a recent wobble.
Two draws for Liverpool, against wHam and Lesser, have seen MancCiteh Fraud Klub, installed as (bookies and pundits) favourites to finish top of the pile again.
It seems a long time since the Reds hit four without reply against the Cherries at the Vitality. That was only December and they looked incredibly short of ideas in the draw with the hammers on Monday.
The last five Premier League matches have been close, too:
2-1 loss v Man City
1-0 win v Brighton
4-3 win v Palace
1-1 v Leicester
1-1 v West Ham

The cherries travel to Merseyside with nothing to lose, and still the confidence of thrashing Chelsea 4-0, and they have run top six sides close at times this term.

Opta facts

This will be the 15th meeting between Liverpool and Bournemouth in all competitions, with the Reds losing only once in the process (W10 D3).
Bournemouth’s only previous victory against Liverpool in their history came in the Premier League in December 2016, winning 4-3 at the Vitality Stadium.
Liverpool have won five and drawn one of their six home matches against Bournemouth in all competitions, keeping three clean sheets.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 33 Premier League home games, winning 23 and drawing 10. They drew their last league game at Anfield, but haven’t failed to win two in a row there since December 2017 (3).
Despite opening the scoring in their last two Premier League games, Liverpool have ended up drawing them both. They’ve never scored first and failed to win in three consecutive games in the competition before.
Bournemouth have lost each of their last seven away Premier League games, conceding at least two goals each time. The last team to lose eight in a row on the road were Crystal Palace (8 in November 2017), while the last to do so while conceding at least twice were Portsmouth in February 2006.

Liverpool’s Mo Salah has scored five goals in three Premier League appearances against Bournemouth, including netting a hat-trick in the reverse fixture this season.
Liverpool forward Bobby Firmino has had a hand in six goals in six Premier League starts against Bournemouth (3 goals, 3 assists).

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has scored in each of his last three appearances in the Premier League – he’s never scored in four consecutive matches within the same season in the competition before.
Bournemouth’s Josh King has scored three goals in his last three Premier League games, as many as he had in his previous 14 in the competition.

i speak perfect german, have lived abroad more than half my life, feel european, but think that the german journo is RUDE, posing questions without being in english the club language is english, is excluding the majority of Lfc fans and without respect..is he from "Bild" (like the sh&te sun of germoney)

REdNETFebruary 8, 2019 at 8:40 PM
Rather have less financial assets and a bench that support the first team when needed.. rather still have the quality of Stevie, Luis, Torres,, Masch..Raheem, Phil etc , would have won the title instead of being "rich" and price out true REdS

Instant Match reaction ... wham 1 LIVERPOOL 1 (Mane)

once again LIVERPOOL failed to hold a lead, albeit that the goal could have been ruled offside..
in a way fortunate , considering Hendo, Gini & Dejan (again?) excluded from selection today (!)

I dont feel that even the fan nies could moan about Lalla... i thought as it was his first since...whenever.. he did well, and IMO if anyone shpuld was ineffective it was Fab..

Matip comes through with the ball, even if he may arguably be 4th choice ( ? now 3rd as Joe is probably out for the remainder, ) ...

wham had as many attmpts on goal, and probably played their best game of the season ..
Lfc had possesion as with the games at citeh and v leicester.. Mo didnt come alive until the 2nd half ..and with better accuracy could have had 3 goals from 3 shots,.. but didnt

VVD and late on Origi might have scored, but a point keeps LFC 3 points on top,

even with manCiteh FRAUD Klub playing at goodison wednesday, u know that the bluesh&te are not managed by Rafa, so will probably capitulate ..meaning they might go back on top oet n goal difference , however LIVERPOOL should gain advantage on saturday afternoon at home to bournemouth,,,the next "most important game of the season...

NK was better than v leicester ... but, needs to "get over it" if he loses possession, I saw him just standing after it happened to him once or twice,. he AND the expensive AB were liable for the 1-1 ..
wham had a lot of ideas for free kicks which worried Lfc all game. NK didnt defend their goal, and I expect the often unbeatable AB to get down for a shot that was almost scuffed into the goal by Antoinio... i am sure he saves those sort of shots all day long in training.

Milly put in a shift , Mane also looked like he could walk through defenders, Firm often cane, IMO too deep, when there was Fab, NK, Lalla, Milly, Mo, Mane & Robbo strung across thr park..
itak
it cried out for a faster more direct movement, and in the rare times Lfc had (as wham set up to defend their box) chances of counter, the vital pass was sometimes delayed or blunt...does fortune favour the brave... sometimes, /// another handball could have won Lfc a pen... but referee Friend...isnt...

Shaq didnt offer anything for half hour he was on...

btw ...there was a handball shout in the 2nd half which no pundits mentioned (from Milly cross?)

when I reflect, I am sure JK will claim a decent performance..and it was, but more than that is required I consider this recent period to be the "blip" that so - called pundits expected /// .. but it to bed saturday .. keep the mancs & spurs at distance...

and...so ... SUPPORTERS need to raise the Tean on saturday, you are also "responsible" when u are at ANFIELD, get LOUDER!

  3. I liked "cheers" but you have got desperate whimple en you have to refer to a USA comedy series as an example. you have missed the mark like a Mahrez pen! ... simple problem IS the failure to support, our generation were called "professional" by Shanks BECAUSE we knew how to support, and even as recent as Rafas days, i was amongst supporters when we got LOUDER in encouragement if conceding a goal or struggling to make headway.. if you , a so-called TAW regular play down the "12th man" you are a traitor to the culture of a true REd ..and and explains a lot what is so wrong among the "modern Lfc fans" ! Liverpool 3 bmouth 0 .. almost instant reaction...
Really not much to add to a GOOD performance , bmouth came out of the blocks quickly & the REdS more than reacted... with Mane in good form, getting the first, my MotM just shading the vote , his role pivotal and scoring the important 2nd with a chip over their GK, NK and the 3rd goalscorer Mo looking sharp.. in the end comfortable (just strange that the contract with Solanke didnt prevent him playing against Lfc) Ibe tried but the Liverpool side defended well as a unit, Trent got on late, AB looked his self again, Robbo charging down the wing, and as suggested Mo was comign in off the right wing with more space, Matip was ok, although his tackles dont represent a 6ftooter, Firm had sone typical link up play and a lovely touch to set up the 3rd for Mo.. Milly looked "at home" at RWB and later in midfield , Origi & Studge got on late in the game.. now a few days pause before taking on bayern ...:)

  6. 10 FEBRUARY 2019

It was the pass to Roberto Firmino in the build-up to Liverpool’s third that did it.
Perfectly weighted with the outside of the right foot. Natural, penetrative, reminiscent of those Philippe Coutinho trademarked in the 18 months prior to his transfer to Barcelona.

Firmino’s subsequent stud roll of the ball for Mohamed Salah to finish will be remembered as Anfield’s assist of the season, but of greater significance was the formal arrival of a new Liverpool midfielder.

Forty-eight minutes of the 26th Premier League fixture had been played. Now it was time to make the announcement.

“Welcome to Anfield, Naby Keita. We had been expecting you.”

Until Saturday afternoon’s stroll against Bournemouth, the Guinea midfielder was present without influence.

This was his fourth consecutive start despite that underwhelming contribution. It proved a reward for Jurgen Klopp’s man-management as – even in the midst of a title challenge – he persisted with Keita having concluded game time and confidence was lacking rather than ability.

“Hendo maybe could have played. Adam (Lallana) could have played again but it was clear that Naby was pretty much one of the first on the teamsheet but for different reasons,” said Klopp.

    “Rhythm.”

Such tolerance, patience – dare one say, indulgence – is increasingly rare at the highest level so it is to be applauded, even if the inclination for those to insist on positive appraisals based on scarce evidence is as grating as the alternative negative extreme.

Naby Keita in action for Liverpool with Dan Gosling
Keita is starting to learn exactly what Klopp wants of him

    Liverpool
The consistency comes from Klopp, who regularly acknowledged Keita had been underwhelming while arguing ferociously tough initiations are a means to a valuable end. A theme of Klopp’s reign is gradual integration of signings who must adjust to finely tuned-physical and tactical directives.

“We are really demanding,” said Klopp.

“The boys have a lot to learn, if you want – it’s not that it’s constantly about that. It’s just that adapting to what we want always leads to a little drop.”

Keita has needed longer than Firmino, Andy Robertson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho, who were similarly unrecognisable in their early appearances to how they performed once Klopp spent a few months with them. Keita is still not at that level.

Nevertheless, this was his most confident and encouraging performance since signing from RB Leipzig, the end product with that cutting through-ball to Firmino differentiating it from inauspicious predecessors, even though Klopp felt the real turning point may have come five days earlier.

“It was a big step, this game,” said the coach.

“The second half against West Ham was a big step but nobody really realised it because nobody was happy with the game and nobody talked about this. We will probably see a couple of bad halves from Naby in the future, that’s completely normal. But it was clear the whole week the second half was really important to him. The position was clearer and clearer. This was a really good game. There is still a lot to come because he is still adapting. Sometimes it takes longer, that’s how it is. People lose patience, that’s normal – but we don’t. This was obviously one of the best games he’s played. It looked natural. That’s exactly where we wanted it to come and where we wanted it to go.”

Keita can take further encouragement from the midfield masterclass of Fabinho, who having looked one-paced and lost in his first few games could be settling into the heart of Klopp’s midfield for the next five years. Without much fanfare, the Brazilian has started to look the complete central midfielder.

    1. (cont) Even he was the not the outstanding player. Gini Wijnaldum overcame diarrhoea to excel – the Dutchman colourfully explaining why he was the most desperate in the stadium to hear the half-time whistle.

“I had to run off to get to the toilet. I was like, “Oh no”. I ran inside and I managed to control it,” said Wijnaldum.

“I didn't train on Friday and I didn't sleep at the hotel either because they thought I might infect other players. The manager called me and said, “Do you think you can play?” I said I was as positive as I can. In the morning I was still weak and had diarrhoea I must say the tablets helped a lot.”

Wijnaldum’s chip on 34 minutes ensured Liverpool won easily after Sadio Mane’s headed his side into a disputed early lead, Eddie Howe lamenting a narrow offside. Liverpool could have had six but for wasted chances and the woodwork.

It was the calming win they needed after back-to-back draws. There was more than a hint of triumphalism at Goodison Park – certainly from the Manchester City fans – when the champions returned to the top last week.

Liverpool have absorbed the events of the last fortnight and made a concerted effort to re-emerge galvanised, not demoralised.

“I had never seen a 3pm game at Anfield on Saturday like that before,” said Trent Alexander-Arnold.

“The scarves, the flags, the banners: it was something that I hadn’t really experienced. This is what we need to push on.” (telebascombe)

Dawn Crvena the sad thing is how you Vicki Liverbird Upton and Josiah Smith (and other fan nies) react to an alternative, instead of asking "how could that work?" you simply defend the sharks.. they "stole" our club in 2007 and it was passed on to another batch of USAcorp sharks .. in 2010 ..if there is a club in the WORLD that should be supporters - owned it is LIVERPOOL, ... but whilst we were waiting for SOS & ShareLiverpool to combine their ideas ... sharks swallowed Lfc and by using credit & collateral hardly had to spend any cash..... folling fans into thinking we cant compete with manciteh/chelski etc whilst f s g is backed by several billionaires ....THEY now own a global business with over 30 million loyal customers to fleece... valued at around 2 billion USD..who are the fools in this scenariao? if only you took the time to understand @ https://vimeo.com/278151308
