• Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita will miss out with a hamstring problem. Mo  Salah (hamstring) and Sadio Mane (broken thumb) are still in contention while Virgil van Dijk will continue to play with a rib problem. James Milner (hamstring) could play while Adam Lallana is set to feature for the first time since September 1.

the Huddersfield club (once managed by Shanks  pre Lfc) have apparently ALSO some injury problems ..Huddersfield also players on duty in the international break, but Denmark U21s midfielder Philip Billing has also withdrawn this week.
 Wagner will no doubt miss his 6’6″ frame in the middle of the park if he is not available.
Elsewhere, summer signing Ramadan Sobhi told the Examiner‘s Rory Benson that his “knee is better now,” having played just six minutes this season, but he is unclear whether he will take part on Saturday.
the home side are on a run of 13 games without a competitive victory, and have lost three of their last five, two of which came at home.

Joe & Dejan should be capable CBs because VVD may anyway also need a rest from time to time, (although I think only injury would keep him out ..)
Gini & Hendo can cover the Holding/link up work .. and with "the Firm" having a long journey from Brazil again.. I feel Shaq and Studge compliment each other, so could come in for Mo & Firm..!

I dont agree with everything Carra says , for me, Rafa was/is the best manager since 1991 ..for Liverpool.. and IMO..would have won the league had Rafa been retained & not had to deal with boardroom, and Jamie , directors messign with dressing room "politics" too.. Key Players in & out? (title challenge)

 Hopeful of Lalla  and eventually OX making a contribution to the title challenge this season..I dont agree with Carra  about manciteh..  too manmy sides lay down aginst them before a ball is kicked, that Pep changed his tactics at Anfield last week , says to me that they can be got at, had JK kept key REd players fresh and not played them at Napoli , I feel Liverpool coldhave taken 3 vital points ...  worries ahead of the huddersfield game .. that VVD, Mo & Milly may be inured or need resting...

 it may be considered " good".....  "for fixture congestion fears" ....that Lfc went out (again) at their first round (last year at Leicester , and this season v chel;ski) but a) less chances for young / fringe players to shine in the cup games (especiay if drawn against low placed opposition and  b) for SUPPORTERS on a  budget fsg will be unlikely , considering their " grab money from fans any way possible" policies to see games with cheapER tickets.

we at REDnET wanted a virtual reserve team at Napoli to save the energy of key players for this game, JK didnt agree,,

I have yet to see any of Peps selections play as DEFENSIVE as today, The REdS need a pause, and if any of the players truky want to win a title with the REdS , I would suggest they consider whether "nations league"  is worth the risk?

Milly off early on may not have helped as until then, despite citehs ball possession , (which was mostly in their own penalty area :)  ..   ) 

Lfc started best ,  there were arguably the fewest chances and shots on target by either side in this premiere league title favourites game than previous stats will show..

NK put in a shift but hAS YET TO SHOW THE EXPLOSION THAT was expected by so many of his fan club..

arguably a fair result, and the away team will point to pen claims and the missed pen (which IMO AN had covered had Mahrez been on target)

but I would claim that citehs players might have lost one of them to a red card with a different ref than atkinson..

I was a bit surprised by the line up considering how well Joe & VVD have played but all credit to Dejan, who made soem EXCELLENT tacles, when the blue mancs broke away (although their chances came when the home side made loose passes in midfield..?) 

I want to see more from Mane... Mo went the closest but he was odten alone against 3 or 4 defenders, dont forget this when fans talk about "loss of form" ..

"the Firm" for me, wasnt at his best , unfortunately Studge offered not much extra, given just 20 minutes to make an iimpact,,,for me , 30 minutes gives a player time to get into the game (yes I know what happened at chelski)  .. for me Studge and Shaq should have been on together for "the Firm & Sadio" ,, but thats just how i see the game..

VVD , apart from giving away the pen was his usual self,   AB had hardly a shot to save.. Robbo was left winger and Hendo did a fair impersonation of Milly - fans have to leave him alone although I would have started NK.. Hendo was all over the park and made some decent chances but should have had a shot when with the ball on the edge of the pen area, he has it in his locker...remember?

Joe did a decent job on the right, considereing its not his best position, and got in a couple of naughty crosses that caused problems... the team have to do better from the free kicks and corners VVD , IMO shoudl win just about everything there...

and I still feel , over all the games played so far Gini is most consistent player of the season..
