 Gomez did well in the last 2 international games, however that was in a defensive structure, could he switch to CB?  for me CBs , usually need to be more experienced & mature to cope with pressures at Lfc, although Tommo did well when young..!

    ... cant wait until january, problems need sorting before yesterday .. I recall Shanks on the bench moving his hands up and down, cup final video 74, ? full backs used to take turns , if the left went up, the RB stayed back, and vice verca, that way you have "3 at the back" but still have attacking support.. JK just doesnt seem to understand defending tactics.. attacking ok , "fullthrottle" & all.. but I have to also disagree with Tommo, some dotn deserve their place, WARD must be given a chance, and , for me, Moreno gives nothign to a defence, he , Can & Mignolet on bench, Milly at LB (some experience at the back) Gomez CB, Trent in at RB, and Grujic replcing Can in midfield, with Solanke or Studge getting AT LEAST 30 minutes ...!   6. you are a season ticket holder> really? well, old lucky you, can only suppose that you have been knocking back the bevvies instead of seeing the game, or hearing other supporters.. & fans comments there is no substance to your article,

    and as I am openly Rafa supporter , to identify him in comparison with Klopp or Brent is ridiculous (focus on 2005 win ? only) Rafa made me proud again with a team that challenged and won trophies, semis, finals and top of UEFA rankings, DESPITE having back stabbers against him in the boardroom which many fans didnt understand, and still dont.. you havent seen it> ?>??

    If FSG are such parasites then how much money have they taken out of Liverpool so far? The answer would be zero. How much money have FSG put in so far. That would be £300m to buy & clear debts, £110m for the new stand plus another £100m+ in operating losses - not enough in transfer fees I would suggest but far from parasites!   11. overall, Mike, maybe we could have the list , but for pundits & TAW writers ha ha... missed out Carra, when he was RB , being booed by idiots before Rafa helped make him one of the best CBs in Europe, I always felt there was a difference in supporters, and in social aspects , too, to support meant just that, whereas "fans" follow , and moan, supporters , support, .. the whole of society and football reflects that, now also at Lfc because less & less hard core REDs go to the game, the spoiled brats of the media age, fed on pundits drivel, and kids who think playing a video game makes them footy experts...

    and of course the increasing number of superficial clones accumulated since Moores sold Lfc out... to USA corp!

    We used to prefer discussing the merits whilst making up a new song for one or all of our "heroes" in the Albert, Arkles, or some other away pub, in uk or europe... a more positive activity than the average "punter" who is on his/her "smart phone" with the would-be ANALysts dissecting the players, the echo or website, blog "ratings" which in itself is a matter of personal opinion rather than the fact the "stats" sheeple like to profess...

    Reds used to have solidarity, dignity and yes be part of the "holY trinity" now and since close on a decade there are more HO(L)ES, than holy ...

  12. nice article Karl, used to love going to wham when I was an apprentice in London, a group of us lads, every mid-week during the season find a game @spurs or wham, (we couldnt afford the money or the time to get up & back to Anfield for the Tuesday nights... Lfc always played Tuesdays...?) enjoyed the games always goals, as wham attacked with abandon, recall one wham v blues 3-3 when both sides had players like Moore, Peters & Hurst, and a young H. Rednap on their wing, Bally shouting to Kendall; Harvey& co in his high pitched voice, with cockneys on the chicken run taking the P*ss...

    I already have problems with Lfc since 2007, back stabbing of beloved Rafa, and the erosion of Shanks "Liverpool ways" the Holy trinity is dead.. and I wonder how many of the true supporters can continue to raise a voice against away supporters who are more "in tune"...
