"The show of support for Corbyn’s Labour comes two days after the
party’s Steve Rotherham was elected Liverpool’s first ‘metro mayor’ in
local elections.
Roy Bentham, from Blacklist, told the Liverpool Echo that the display was designed as a show of support for Labour in the run-up to June’s general election.
“The banner is acknowledgement for Jeremy and John’s tireless efforts in campaigning for social justice wherever that may be,” he said.
“We are as ever proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them as they have with us on our long paths to justice.
“As working class people in this historically working class city, never has that quote on the flag been more apt than at this time. What unites us is greater than what divides us.”

begin with a person note to "admin" of an Lfc group on fb "social media>>" ..........David, its almost laughable, as yesterday morning I got one of those Fb "memories" reminder of the last week of the 13/14 campaign, the events and the leaving of SG during that summer, convinced me again what I already knew, and if you ahve read our "REdnet" logs then you know my feelings and opinions. David Mullen is well know in other Lfc groups as someone who bangs the USA drum, he removed myself and several other members of Rednet accusing us of insults yet it was he and his buddies who used words like "disgusting" when we copied an anti fsg article , and the others calling my comments ignoring your group "protocol" (David, Adam & co.... with "verbal diarrhea." ..."shite" "crawled out your man cave for the game" "Vermin" ... etc etc) i can defend myself against these cowards who wouldnt dare say something to my face... who shoot the messenger instead of dealing with the point, which cant be argued against,
(that
terrible moment , but at least then Lfc were chasing 1st, not 4th... this is USAcorp media "fake progress")
terrible moment , but at least then Lfc were chasing 1st, not 4th... this is USAcorp media "fake progress")
that 3 years after....we ARE chasing 4th (and Lfc claiming , like arsenal did, thats its a "trophy") whereas 3 years ago we were chasing 1st
... if you allow the herd to run your group thats up to you, i will give it a limited contribution and argue when I feel its worth it, but my dear departed ma woudl say, dont argue with idiots son, no one will understand the difference..) so ...its up to you david, its your group... btw,,, it WAS my club wefelt part of it, I could probably have bought 2 houses with the money i spent supporting Liverpool , the club, the Team, the people since i was a kid... davis Mullen doesnt even remember who i am because he has so many groups and enemies inthe sort of true Red that grew up in & with a socialist club... i am inclined to leave but ... take care , Kid, ChriS
btw , i always wanted to spend some time in Kilkenny, since Kilkenny (beer) spent so much time in me !

CS> IMO (MY opinion, which in spite of the f s g clones , i am
entitled to have , to DARE oppose the "infestors" and criticise their
employee Juergen....selection...
btw i dotn thinkl Klopps touchline theatrics help the team. he needs to be issuing advice not spending have the game arguing with 4th official like some german fergie...
IMO Lalla shd have started the game...
he was excellent at watford and his midfield energy creativity , & pressing was absent as Phil was too deep, Coutinho s tricky footworkl could have opened up sotons 11 man defence (not one shot on target from them, says it all...) if he was further forward...
echo described him as being part of the "front 3" ??? Origi was up front , Firmino as usual in a "2nd striker" role and Phil in midfield!
Lucas had another fine game, but ok, I can understand Klopp removing a DM, chasing 3 points, but I would have put on Grujic too as well as Lalla, & Studge, taking off the innefective Origi and Wijn. at 30 mins.... take a chance and give subs a chance to make an impact...!!
I said when appointed that Juergen is the "german Brent" and after 65 games he has exactly the same league results... BUT ..dont dare mention it... or you too will be branded .. by Lfcs "thought police" ....
Marko unlucky not to score late on, and I was surprised that Milly got "psyched" by Forster, but was an excellent penalty save...

btw david M, YOU added me to this group, and its clear from my profile how I feel about USAcorp, I didnt ask to join your group I dont need to read the banal comments of fools, , but its typical of Lfc fans today that you cant make an intelligent argument, just bring out the childish response...
David Mullen commented on your post in You'll never walk alone and Justice For The 96.

Preview LIVERPOOL fc v soton (*sunday)
Having failed to score against Southampton over the course of three matches already this season, Liverpool would be right to be wary & cannot afford more slip-ups. drawing with Bournemouth and losing to Palace, a home win is overdue -
JK """ Despite Can's goal of the season contender, Klopp admits there are areas the player needs to work on.
(CS pointed this out on REDNET recently despite fans who big him up as "best midfielder" as we said "he only started performing in March) )
"The plan is to make a more simple goal in the next game. If you can do this it would make sense," he added.Against Crystal Palace he had a chance with one of the best offensive moves we had and he hit the ball with his heel – that's football. We have spoken about his calf issues and they are hopefully finally sorted so that helps him."
Phil returned to light training after being forced off with a dead leg at Vicarage Rd & is being carefully managed to give him every chance of being fit for Sunday's visit of Southampton, and Klopp is optimistic about his chances.
"Yesterday was the first time for Phil running - Good news. We cannot be 100 per cent sure but at this moment it looks rather positive."
Fifth-placed United are four points behind with a match in hand and Arsenal, in sixth, are nine behind with two additional games to play.
Klopp . "It cannot be our job to count points, our job is to get them. There is absolutely no club in the top spots who can waste points in the next match day: not Chelsea, not Tottenham, not Liverpool, City, United or Arsenal.
"No club has the opportunity to rest. We all have to fight with all we have and that makes this league so exciting. We hear the results or see the other games if we can but it is like (being) a neutral football supporter. You take the result and work on your own positive result.
"We focus on our ways but it is difficult enough without thinking about the other games. I think we have pressure but I cannot imagine how big the pressure is on them (United and Arsenal).
I like this kind of pressure. It is the best pressure you can have fighting for something but that doesn't mean it always feels good."We are in it - that's positive - but to stay in it we have to win." """
Southampton manager Claude Puel questioned about his future: "I've been surprised to see these reports because it seems for me it has been an interesting season with many games. There have been European games, cup games, with quality. We reached the final at Wembley against Manchester United and we've also improved many players. We're ninth in the table with all these games, all these injuries. Sometimes we lack consistency and a clinical edge, and all of this we have to correct for next season because we can do better."
more Team news
Phil is confident he will be fit despite suffering a dead leg against Watford Adam Lallana replaced the Brazilian in that game on his return from a month's lay-off and could be in line to start.
Southampton's leading scorer Charlie Austin might be involved for the first time since dislocating his shoulder on 8 December.
He is among several players expected to step up their comebacks by playing for the under-23 side on Friday night.

ReplyDeleteLalla was fit enough last week, and 20-30 minutes is no big test of young Marko,
Klopp has often left changes far too late, its a big difference winning in the Bundesliga , where having any alternative ideas is unusual, to the premiere where even the bottom sides are so well prepared tactically ...
